Chapter Two: A New Beginning

Dawn's Pov
It has been a little over three weeks since I've moved to London, and I've gotten quite closer with Lilly-like old times but not much with the other girls. We do talk, but only when it's essential.
I've learned that Skylar and Lilly have been best friends ever since freshman years in college, she's twenty-five years old same age as Lilly with her childish personality. She's the shortest of the three standing at 5'1 with shoulder-length dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes.
Paige is eighteen years old, Lilly told me she's an orphan she found her wandering the streets at thirteen years old outside the hotel where she was working as an intern, and she took her in and raise her along with Skylar.
She doesn't talk much, and she always locks away in her room. Her personality is just like her dark and mysterious, she's the same height as I am which is 5'6, she has waist-length black hair with brown eyes.
It's currently noon, and I'm lying in bed with my sketch pad, going through old sketches because I'm home alone and bored.
Lilly and the others are at work Lilly, and Skylar works at The Ledbury one of the most famous restaurants in London.
Lilly worked as a chef, while Skylar a barista, and Paige works at Chanel Fashion House, as a cashier.
I need a job, I just can't stay home all day and do nothing besides I'm running low on cash. But what I'm I supposed to do? I have little skill, well besides from drawing.
With a sigh, I picked my phone up, which was placed beside me on the bed, and place it inside the back pocket of my jeans.
Locking the front door behind me and sliding the key inside my hoodie pocket, I made my way down the steps and pulled the hood of my jacket over my head.
After walking for a good five minutes I saw McDonald's across the street, then my stomach grumble with hunger which reminds me that I haven't eaten since breakfast and just how hungry I am.
Entering McDonald's I joined the line where countless people were standing, as the line begins to move upwards I took the time to scanned my surrounding.
There were people of all age groups gathered in the fast-food mart enjoying their meals while conversing with their companions.
"Ahem!" Someone cleared their throat, startled by the loud noise I turned around.
"If you're not going to order I suggested you get out of the line, so other people can order!" A blonde hair girl snapped.
Without acknowledging her I strode to the front of the line, "What can I get you?" The cashier asked ready to log my order on the computer before him.
"Can I have one cheeseburger, small fries, and a large coke please?"
"That would be 5.95¢." He said after logging the information inside the computer.
"Here," I handed him 6.00 dollars." As I attempted to walk away, the girl who was being rude earlier mumbled.
"Finally, the pig has existed in the line."
Too hungry to argued I'd pretended like I didn't just over-hearing her insulting me, With a sigh, I walked over to the far end of the counter to collect my orders.
After collecting the bag which contained my order I thanked the lady and headed over to an empty seat. Therefore, as I was about to sit down the chair behind me was suddenly moved an inch further, which causes me to fell on the floor and the juice to fall all over me.
"Hahaha!" The entire food mart breaks out laughing at my humiliation.
With tears in my eyes, which refused to let fall I scanned the surroundings to see who was the person who removed my chair when my eyes caught the blonde girl staring at me with a devious smirk plastered on her face.
Anger was the only feeling that was coursing through me and without doing anything the girl crop top blouse was on fire.
A gasp was the only thing you could hear and that was when I've realized what I have done, I've set the girl clothes ablaze and without thinking, I ran out of the foot mart with my orders as fast as I could.
"What have I done! I'm so stupid!" I cursed running down the road, with tears stain cheeks.
Not only that, but I didn't know how long I've been running stopped at a deserted hotel, with a deep sigh I flopped down on the steps. Opening my bag I talked the cheeseburger and chips out which is probably cold by now, but who cares I'm starving.
All I wanted was to feed my growling stomach, but no, some blonde b***h think it was okay to humiliate me now my food is cold, and to add the cherry on the top I don't even know where I am! Argh! f**k my life!
Suddenly the impossible happened, my food was no longer cold, but they were hot like they have been reheated.
What the holy-hell! How is this even possible?
So I don't only set things on fire, but I can also reheat things, great just great extension to my weirdness!
Suddenly my phone started vibrating inside my jacket pocket, taking it out I realized Lilly had sent a message.
Where are you? The message read.
I'm at some abandoned hotel. I quickly typed then hit send, and in an instant, Lilly responded.
That's the outskirt of town, how did you get there? She messaged asking.
I don't know, I was just running and ended up here. I typed and sent it to her.
I'm on my way. She responded.
With a sigh I put away my phone, How did I get out here? I was just running, and I doubt I was running that fast, and even if I was there was no way I could run out of town?
It was almost nightfall when Lilly pulled up at the deserted hotel, and soon as she spotted me she climbed out of her car making her way over with a worried expression on her face.
"Hey, are you okay," Lilly had asked embracing me into a bone-crushing hug.
"Yeah, umm I guess," I replied unsurely.
"Come on let's get you inside the car, you must be freezing," Lilly said helping me to my feet.
Thereupon climbing into the passenger seat I thanked her.
"So, what happened today?" She asked after starting the engine.
"I don't want to talk about it" I mumbled resting my head on the window of the car while silent tears rolled down my cheeks.
"You're going to be okay," Lilly muttered turning on the radio filling the silence with soft music.
