Chapter 4 | Sneaking in

Ji-hye's POV

Aish, I'm tired already!

I pouted and stretched my body while Jimin's mom are putting the toppings of the pizza. She didn't noticed I'm stiffed so I groaned louder and pretended to hurt my back.

"A-Aigo aigo, my poor back!"

She looked at me as if she was my mom not buying my excuses when I'm pretending to be sick so I don't have to go to school.

"You just sorted and opened the ingredients. Does that make you tired?" She said smiling sarcastically

I just scoffed and watch her as she grate the cheese. I remembered when Jimin and I were little we used to sneak at the kitchen and eat some cheese and we both got ended up had stomach aches overnight.

Cheese is good, sue me!

I have no choice but to continue on what I was doing and sloooowwwwlllyyyyy move my hand trying to sneak some cheese to eat without her noticing it. But of course, somehow she did--

"Oh c'mon! I just want to taste a bit" I pleaded but she just shake her head as a response and put the pizza in the oven

I just pouted and cross my arms as I watch her taking a peek at the steaming dumplings.

My eyes gaze on the counter with the leftover cheese and look at Jimin's mom if she was looking. I mischievously grab the cheese and sniff if as if I'm a mouse craving for it.

"Stop it or I'm kicking you out of my kitchen" She said still facing the oven so I didn't mind her and just ate some cheese.

"I didn't know you are sensitive with your surroundings and can notice every move even in milliseconds" I said with cheese in my mouth

"I can see your reflection on the oven mirror, dumbass" She said turning around facing me and snapping her fingers while moving her head side to side

Now I wonder where she heard that from? Of course it's Park Jimin! Can you imagine one of your family members be using these days slangs.

She's the parent one that tries to be trendy, and I think she still looks cool.

"Please, just don't do that in public" I said trying to grab another grated cheese

"Well, where do you think Jimin got that from?" She said slapping my hand before I get the chance

"I thought he was just being paranoid" I whispered and tried to look around what else do I have to do.

I was about to open the fridge when I heard a knock from the door. Jimin's mom hurriedly took of her apron and went to open the door.

I also went to the living room expecting to see Jimin but I just saw Jimin's mom peeking outside.

"What's wrong?" I said loudly for her to hear

"Hm. I could've sworn I heard a knock at the door. I thought it was already Jimin. I even got exci--"

"Psst! Yah!" I heard a shout-whisper from behind.

I looked at my behind with a puzzled face and saw Jimin at the backyard window peeking and pointing at the door

I immediately know what he mean so I looked back at Jimin's mom to see what she's doing and saw her at the road still wondering where the knock came from.

She looks like a grandma forgetting something and wondering off the road tbh.

I hurriedly opened the backdoor and he hurriedly came inside as he tiptoes hurriedly following by-- They were so fast to move I couldn't even see their faces when they walked by. It's like they're a spy or something.

Namjoon's POV

Well, here we are. I'm curling my body like a curled hedgehog who's hiding from someone. Jimin just came running from their front door and immediately hide behind the bush where we are all hiding.

"Why can't we just walk through the front door like a normal human being?" Jin whined as he covered his face from the bugs

"Hyung, my mom would slap my ass if she sees our bruises specially if it's visible" Jimin answered

"You don't know her mom. She would also slap our asses." Yoongi said calmly with her arms crossed

"Shhh, Jihye is coming!"

As she quickly opens the door, Jimin hurriedly went inside as we follow him. I patted them to be fast so Jihye wouldn't notice me.

Sheesh, It's not like I could hide forever when we're currently under the same the roof and in the next 48 hours.

---Time skip---

Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook is busy looking for concealers in Jihye's drawers while we're all hiding in Jihye's room.

I just sit patiently on her bed. Hoseok and Jin are touching her things like it's their first time seeing girl things. Yoongi is just reading a book he found near Jihye's table.

A minutes passed and we hear footstep coming towards Jihye's room so we immediately stop whatever we're doing and try not to make a noise.

I saw Jihye peeking as she enter her room and she looks intimated by us-- or me

"Y-your mom is calling you. She's worried, why aren't you answering her calls?" She said trying not to look at us

Jimin just sighed "I'm trying to find some concealers to cover up my bruises so my mom couldn't see it. I don't want her to be worried about it. I still want to show up to her at least a couple of minutes since it's my birthday"

Jihye just looked at us and she immediately went through her bathroom to find the concealer that Jimin's been looking for.

"Come here. I'm going to do it for you" She said

Jimin just smiled. I just cross my shoulders while the others stopped whatever they were doing and also watch.

"Can y'all not watch? I'm feeling bothered the way you all look at me" her gaze turns to mine "especially you"

"Ohhh, feisty." Taehyung said.

We all looked at him shocked while he just proudly smirked at me wiggling his eyebrows up and down.

He isn't a flirt, I swear

Jihye rolled his eyes and looked at Jimin and begin her make up yada. We all are watching her like children finding out what make up looks like.

She looked intimidated at first by us watching but still manages to make up. Her eyes are like glued to me because she can't take her eyes off me every time one layer is finished.

I just smirk and try to intimidate her even more.

I can do this all day

"So...." I said breaking the silence

She didn't said a word

"As far as I know, Jimin doesn't have a sister. So you're practically his cousin" I said as if I didn't know

"Ok? So?" She answered hesitantly

"Then why do you have a room here? Aren't you suppose to be at your parents house since you just live next door?" I said curiously

Jihye, Jimin and everybody stopped and looked at me like I said something mischievous. I just gave them a 'th are y'all looking at' look

"H-how did you know I live next door?"

I-

Sht. Sht. Sht. What am I going to say?! Damn, Namjoon and your slippery tongue! Quick! Think of something!!

"I uhh- your frame! Yeah! Your picture frame on your desk" I pointed at the picture frame at her desk that's like a family picture with her mom and dad in front of their house.

"T-the house in there looks like the house next door so I immediately knew" I said calmly not trying to look panicking

Pheeewww! Thank God for picture frames!

"Oh. Well, My mom and dad are just visiting here once a month and can't stay here because they're taking care of our farm at our hometown, where I really live. I don't want to be alone so I always stay here." She said smiling like a kid telling story.

Uh huh. Interesting.

"What kind of farm are your parents growing?" I ask again curiously.

"Strawberry farm?"

"Tangerine farm?"

"Are their snakes in there?"

The members said in unison so she just didn't answer. She looks like she can get irritated easily but easy to be with. She's impatient for sure.

"Okay, I'm done" She said making Jimin smile

Jimin looked at himself on the mirror and thanked Jihye as he excitedly ran downstairs to greet his mom.

I just smirked because I can tell she's uncomfortable with us being alone.

"Namjoon, did you bury their bodies?" Yoongi said in a deep tone

I just looked at him with a confused face but he just smiled and immediately know what he mean.

"Their what!?" Jihye shouted shockingly at us with her eyes wide open

Her eyes immediately quiver and try to avoid eye contact with us and she just stand there not knowing what to do.

We all just smirked and sit politely trying to look intimidating. These boys know how to play games too.

"Too bad, the other one was still shouting in pain and begging us to stop." Yoongi said with a playful smirk drawn on his face.

Okay, that became dark real quick.
