Nikola POV I sat in my office after updating Peter on the situation with Travis. I knew I would have his support and I wasn’t wasting any time. He verified I took all the proper precautions before going to Roni’s office. I tried to join him, but he requested I get to work. I felt Roni become anxious through the bond. She seemed to be overwhelmed for a moment, recovering quickly. Unable to sit still I paced in the office. Suddenly I felt a change in the bond. I couldn’t tell what it was, it was as if she was beginning to reject me. Unable to hold myself back I burst into her office.
