Chapter 18 Bickering in Cars with Boys
Ines paused, one foot inside the limousine. It was huge. There were two seats wide enough for five — one front-facing, the other facing the back. Her first impulse was to take the back-facing seat— Kilborne was likely to sit facing front and she didn’t want to sit beside him if she didn’t have to. However, riding in a moving vehicle while facing anywhere but the front always made her dizzy. Should she risk it?
“Hey!” she yelped in alarm when strong hands grasped her waist and shoved her inside. She landed on her bottom, in the seat facing front.
