Ines dumped the plate of vegetables into the simmering pot. As the leaves started to wilt in the heat, she checked the camera of her phone that was on a small tripod on the counter next to the stove. So far so good. The live recording was going well, and she had three people watching. Two of them sent her a few likes.
Social media wasn’t so hard after all. Daria spent an hour or so earlier helping her practice and set up her shot. Ines wasn’t ready to face the camera yet, so she thought it might be better if she just live-streamed an activity. Which was ― for tonight ― cooking dinner. She stirred the pot one last time before glancing at her phone screen again.
