Afterwards and Years To Come

Chloe POV

Ever since my Uncle Adonis and Auntie LeighAnn were killed by rouges years ago nothing was the same again. My father (our Beta than) took over after his brother until his oldest Zane could take over. Zane would travel and train with some other Alphas at some training camp that they have for Alpha kids. He came back a change guy and I don't care for how he is now. He cheated on his mate that he met there after bringing her back here for him to truly show her how he is. Her name was Sarah. she was a sweet girl and way to go for him.She wasn't gonna put up with his bullshit and called him out on things. He told her to deal with how he was gonna run his pack or leave. So after a few weeks she asked for him to reject her which he and all the she wolves he was sleeping with at the time were very happy with. My brother Chase went with him to the training camp since he was gonna be the next Beta. They both got their titles when they turned nineteen since they finished training that year. It didn't seem like my father wanted to give up the title but Zane told him he would challenge him for it. So my father and Zane had came to an understanding and titles changed.

I've been trying to study and get good grades in school while also heloing out my cousin Zoey with house work. We have to hide the fact that I help her because we could get punished for getting caught. Zoey has had it worse since that afternoon. She takes everything given to her though and I'm proud to call her family even if she isn't truly family. I had heard and even read letters from her birth parents to my Aunt and Uncle from the office when were cleaning one day. I grabbed the letters and hide them from everyone because something in me told me I needed to protect who her family was from mine. So I plan on giving them to her one day when she wants to run away. I also planned on leaving with her the day she decides. She's my true family and I don't really count mine as family with everything they have said and did to her. I mean seriously she was seven years old when the Alpha and Luna were killed. There was nothing she could have done. Everyone in the pack knows this. But they don't wanna get on the bad side of Zane or should I say Alpha. He only wants to be called Alpha even by family. Power has gone to his head big time.

Even if some of the she wolves warn others to stay away from him some still think they can become his Luna if they put up with everything. He has been sleeping with them anywhere and everywhere without caring. Its nasty. I can't tell you how many times I have walked into a room and seen the acts happen. I mean yes he is twenty two now but still there called locks for a reason.

As I was finishing up my room and homework for the week I started to get hungry since I worked through lunch. I was walking downstairs when I heard Zane and my father coming around the corner. I hurried up and hide inside the closet in the hallway until they left. I never thought I would hear what I heard next though. It made me extremely sick and disgusted that they are my blood family.

"Man now that was fun." Zane says

"If I would have known she was gonna feel like that I would have suggested we do that years ago." My father was saying as they were walking down the hall passed the door I was in.

"Well we can have more fun like that now. At least if she is need of punishments now that can be it. Maybe than she won't forget who is the boss and who is the Alpha. She will be broken and used so much that no mate will want her. Haha like she will get a mate. Ya right. Well let her rest a while before we take it up a notch. Remind me who gets the back next time?" Zane was saying while having a sick voice to him.

"That would be you my dear nephew. And believe me she is great from the back. I can't wait to try the front. How was that? Taking her innocence and choking her at the same time made it feel all the better." My father was saying. What are they talking about? Or I should be saying who are they talking about?

"Let's just say that I have no problem filling her up more and more. We will need to have some sort of birth control in placement because I'm not using condoms with her. Plus it wouldn't look good if my sister comes pregnant with either one of us." After he said that I knew who it was. I have to find her.

After they left I ran to where I know Zane takes certain she wolves. I opened the door and was in tears looking at Zoey on the floor passed out in her own blood and naked. I can't believe my family could be so evil. I ran to her to make sure she was breathing and thanked the Goddess that she was. I knew she couldn't get help from the doctors because they will ask questions and report to the Alpha.

"Zoey please wake up. Zoey please." I was starting to cry. I don't understand how my father and cousin could do something this horrible and have fun doing it. As soon as I can I'm getting Zoey out of here. We can't stay here anymore.

Zoey POV

I'm in blackness, soundless, and not understanding what is happening right now. Am I dead? Did my brother and uncle kill me? As I started to get up I find myself surrounded by a crystal clear lake with many fish of all colors swimming free. Plus on the other side is a field of wild flowers all shapes and sizes. Some are bright purple and a burned orange color. Some even look to the color is a sunset in the fall. It smells like Autumn and can't help but feel welcomed and at home. Than I spot across the way Zena laying next to the moon goddess. She looks to be having a conversation with her. I'm not wanting to be rude so I let them be for a few while taking in the nice weather here, since I believe that this is where I'll be now. I never got to do anything that I wanted to do. Now I will never get to.

"My sweet little Zoey. I'm so sorry that this is happened to you and we couldn't protect you like we should have." I turn and see my daddy and mommy. Adonis and LeighAnn. I run to them hugging them and telling them I'm sorry I couldn't save them or help them when the rouges fought them. Tears were streaming down my face while in their embrace.

"Sweetie you couldn't have done anything, but we love you for trying your hardest. You still have a life and a destiny to fulfill. You just have to endure what is gonna come to over the next couple years my little girl. We both are extremely proud of you. We have loved you the moment you were brought into our lives." My daddy tells me while wiping my tears.

"Is it true?" I start to ask not knowing if I truly want the answer. "Am I not your daughter?"

"You are our daughter no matter if its blood or not." Mommy tells me.

"I'm meaning are you my parents or not? Please I need to know. Zane and Uncle Adam have been doing very wrongful things and I don't understand why if I'm their sister and niece." I ask again hoping for some answers.

"No sweetie. You were brought to us by your birth parents when you were just a couple months old. They have been our friends for many years and trusted us to keep you safe. There was many factions and bad things happening where they were that having an innocent little girl was not in the cards for them. But you do have two older brothers that are your blood. Someday you will be reunited with them. Until then you must go through certain trials. We were gonna tell you when you turned ten years old but we weren't in the position to anymore." Daddy tells me while I'm standung there speechless.

"Zoey sweetheart its time for you and Zena to wake up. Chloe is helping you gather your strength and helping you. You need to allow a little healing from Zena but you must not fully heal your wounds yet or your brother and uncle will find out you have already received your wolf. You may trust Sarah with everything. She will stand by you and help you in ways in the near future. Plus I will be paying young Chloe a visit and rewarding her with a few special abilities that will help you both along the way. She will need your help when it comes to her shift. Make sure your away from everyone. She also will need to keep her wolf from others until the time comes. Train and keep it secret. I'll be sending a couple of trainers to you both in secret throughout the years. You will be pushed to your breaking point, I'm sorry that I can't change anything. You will survive everything they are gonna put you through. Stay strong my child. You will have your happy ending after everything." Selene tells me and afterwards I give my daddy and mommy a hug and kiss and tell them thank you for raising me and loving me as their own. I'll never forget them for as long as I live and that won't change.

Waking up I feel the pain from my back and I guess I scared Chloe who was cleaning them. "Zoey! Oh Goddess thank you!" Chloe is saying over and over while hugging me tightly.

"Chloe thank you. Thank you for being with me. I have many things to tell you. Firstly we will both get through this and have the life we were meant for." I tell her with hope in my eyes. After all I just have to try and get through the next few years. Shouldn't be to be right?
