Finding Zoey

Damon POV
Elijah and the others left a few hours ago and should be showing up at the Blue Lake Pack soon. I'm just relaxing and enjoying a little company before having to finish some office work. I have the she wolf bent over the back of the couch while my phone rings. Why does this always happen when I'm trying to have s*x? I don't care if someone hears me on the phone so I answer it.
"This is Damon."
"Damon quit f*****g the girl your with. Kick her out of the room now!" Elijah tells me. Whats his problem? I stop and pull out while fixing myself in my pants.
"Hey we weren't done." She tells me.
"Get out. This is important." I tell her right back.
She leaves pissed of but I don't care. "Ok whats going bro? Why was I interrupted?" I'm wondering.
"Damon we found Casey's little sister. We are now positive that's its Zoey. Everything adds up, and we need you to let Alaric and Annabella know. Plus here soon ill be calling you to have Sabrina teleport to me and bring Zoey back to the pack hospital. She's in bad shape according to Chloe." Elijah tells me while also telling me what happened on the phone call in the car. Plus it seems our Beta is her friend Chloe mate.
"On it ill things ready on my end." I tell him as I hang up and get ahold of Sabrina.
"Hello Damon. What do you need?" She asked after answering.
I start to explain everything and than next thing I know she's infront of me. Dammit! I hate when we have no warning. Now we're just waiting on the call. Hopefully everything can go smoothly, but when does that happen.
Elijah POV
After getting of the phone with Damon I start to walk around and try to figure out the best route to go about things. Chloe and Hunter have been getting to know each other while still keeping up appearances.Out of the corner of my eye I can see the Alpha Zane start to walk around with a smug look on his face and I'm trying my hardest not to kick his teeth in for putting Casey's sister through everything. Casey is getting pissed and his wolf Cash is really wanting to find his sister and get out of here, but we need to find her first and than we can leave if needed. We can say we had an emergency we needed to get back to.
"Elijah we found the room that Zoey is in and they have it locked. There is no way in. Not even from the outside. I can hear a very faint heartbeat though. Do you have your lock pick kit on you? If so can you find your way to use. We might need help getting her out of there before we can call Sabrina to get it." Hunter links me and I tell Casey we need to hurry while Alpha Zane was busy with the other Alphas here. I saw Beta Chase and Adam busy with other guest. So this might be our only chance to do this.
"On our have Chloe tell Sarah were the bags are and they can load up the cars from side of the pack house away from others. That way we can say we had an emergency back home we needed to attend." I tell in the link back to him.
As I'm following where Hunter is I start to smell this amazing scent. Its like lavender and vanilla mixed, it smells like heaven. Wait that means my mate is close. No one is around this area of the house though. Could that mean? Oh s**t Casey's sister and Zoey is mine and Damon's mate. As I get closer to where I see Chloe and Hunter at I now know my mate is behind that door. I don't even know how I did it but I grab the door handle and rip it off.
"Damn. So much for the lock pick kit." Hunter tries to joke but I growl at him. "s**t your telling me she's your, oh f**k, this just got worse." He says knowing its true.
Before I could walk into the room or anyone else I have to get Damon and Sabrina here. "This is Damon." he answers right away.
"Damon. You and Sabrina need to get here now." I tell him with out any room for arguing before hanging up.
"Whats up? Wait what is that smell? Smells like lavender and vanilla. Why do I smell blood also?" He asked realizing now how bad things is.
"I haven't went in yet. I waited for you. We need to do this together." I tell him seriously.
We look at the door and open it to the horrible sight I have ever seen in my life. Our mate looks lifeless hanging from chains in the middle of the room. There is dried and fresh blood dripping off naked body. She has cuts, burns, and whipped marks on her body. Chloe next to us is crying her eyes out and yelling for Zoey. Before I can do anything to get her out of her we need proof for the elders what has happened here.
"Nobody move. Hunter I need you to video the room. Sabrina can you take pictures of the room and Zoey please. Chloe do you know where the keys are for the locks? Damon find her a blanket or robe from somewhere. We need to document everything. As much as I wanna get her down and put of here everything will be for nothing if we can't prove what they have done to her. Casey please help me lift her to get her down." After giving orders we got everything that would be needed for the elders and we were able to finally get Zoey unlocked and down. I can feel her slowly breathe and heartbeats slowing down by the seconds.
"Sabrina and Damon get her to the Royal hospital back home. Than Sabrina wait about ten minutes and pick me up at the car. I'm going back with her." I'm telling them not wanting to let her out of my arms. I kiss the top of her head and pass her to Damon's waiting arms. Than they teleport back home. We all have to fix our faces and emotions before heading back to the main part with everyone else.
Once we find Alpha Zane I walk up to him really wanting to rip his heart out but stop myself. "Alpha Zane. I'm sorry to have to do this but we have been called back for an emergency back at our packs. I hope the rest of the weekend can go smoothly for you during the conference. We are needed to be leaving now though. Thank you for having us here in your beautiful home." I reach out and shake his hand before leaving.
"I'm sorry to hear that problems are happening at your pack. Please be safe and If there is anything I can help with let me know Alpha King Elijah." Zane replied to me.
Than we walked out and got to the vehicles and started to load up and leave. Right as we finished loading up Sabrina showed up and grabbed my hand and Casey's to take us back faster to get to Zoey. I knew by the way she didn't say anything something happened to her and I wasn't gonna like it.
Damon POV
After seeing Zoey in the condition we found her I knew we couldn't waste time once we got the evidence for the trail we will be holding for her to get some justice. We have just got back to the pack and I couldn't hold in my anger anymore.
"Where the f**k is the doctor?!" I yell out in the hospital hallway.
"King is this the young woman? Oh heavens what happened to you sweetheart? Right this way lay her down and we will get to work." Doctor Anthony says as she and the nurses get Zoey hooked up to machines, IVs, and the other monitors.
"Doctor. She's your Luna Queen." I said in stressed voice and everybody looked at me with shocked faces and looked back at her getting to work.
After a few minutes one of the monitors started to make a noise and than I realized that she was flat lining in front of me. I couldn't move or anything. They were trying everything to bring her back and was able to finally get a heartbeat after a few minutes. Could we be to late to save her? They told me its up to her now. She is in a coma.
Thats when Storm took over and ran out of the hospital and hunted. He need to kill something and he wasn't picky with his kill he just needed to something that he could sink his teeth in. After running for a bit he came across a small herd of deer and took down the biggest one he could find. We don't know what were gonna do if she doesn't wake up.
After my run I needed to call my parents and hers. "Hey sweetheart how are you doing?" My mother says when she answers the phone. How am I gonna tell her that my mate is in a coma and her best friends daughter is found after about twenty years and might not wake up?
"Hey mom are you around dad? Also by chance are you with Alpha Alaric and Luna Annabella?" I ask as best as I can without giving away to much.
"Damon whats going on? Also yes we are having lunch together. You never ask for them by title unless something is wrong. What happened? Is Casey or Cody ok?" She starts to ask me.
"Well. Elijah found our mate at the Blue Lake Pack while there for the conference. Her name is Zoey Dove Jaxson, but we know her as Zoey Dove Dawson." I tell her while waiting for them to reply.
"Son your telling me that your mate is Zoey Dove Dawson? You saying she's Alaric and Annabella daughter? Correct?" She asked not truly believing in me.
"Yes. Can you guys come back and bring Cody to the pack house we need to talk to everyone on whats going to be happening after some of the events that have been going on. I can send Sabrina to get you if needed if your to far away. She's bringing Elijah and Casey back now from Blue Lake Pack." I'm trying so hard not to break down on the phone.
"Son what do you mean Sabrina is bringing Elijah and Casey back? Where's Zoey at?" Mother asked me.
"She's in a coma mom." Was the only thing I could say.
