Reedah’s POV
I breathed out deeply, my leg feeling sore, and I wasn’t sure I could walk any further, I felt thirsty and hungry at the same time, and my stomach suddenly rumbled reminding me that I hadn’t eaten much for the past few days.
Herons stopped walking when he heard my stomach rumble and tilted his head to look at me. “Are you okay?” he asked, and I smiled faintly.
“I’m fine,” I said, managing to drag my legs to meet him, his scrutinizing gaze was on me and he exhaled deeply.
“You are hungry and tired, I can bet that,” Herons said, and I chuckled, “I don’t mind carrying you on my back if you don’t mind” He added and I nodded negatively.
