Heron’s POV
The sun penetrated the curtain which made me open my eyes, I groaned and turned, I noticed Reedah was not lying by my side and I guessed she must have woken up sometime in the night and gone back to her room.
I stood up from the bed and went to the bathroom to wash up, my thoughts were filled with finishing up what I was doing and then preparing breakfast for the both of us. I left my room as soon as I was done with what I was doing, I went to Reedah’s room and knocked on the door, but no one replied.
I furrowed my brows and knocked again, but I was met with the same silence, I pushed the door open and went inside the room, her bed was empty, and I headed to her bathroom, I noticed she wasn’t inside too, and I started panicking.
