outside tour 14

Chapter 14 Bayley POV I really thought he was going to freak out when I showed him what I really was; my lycan was right after all. I knew I wouldn't hear the end of that one. After he talked me into buying things off the computer, I told him to give me the rest of the tour. He took me outside, where some of the pack members were outside sparing. At first, I thought they were fighting, but Hunter told me they were training. He showed me the other gym that was around the back. He said this gym was for the warriors and guards; the only time they come in here is if they want to train alone or if there is snow on the ground. We walked around the side of the pack house where there was an outside pool, with tables and chairs beside the pool. There was also a brick grill so they could do BBQs outside. There was even a Jacuzzi and a hot tub around the corner. “These right here are for couples only, they must clean it out each time they use it. I sure don't want to because there is no telling what they do in this thing.” I couldn't help but laugh when Kalie purred, sending me pictures of what we could do to our mate. “Will you calm down? In time, we will mate with him, but for right now, I want to get to know him.” “Fine, don't wait too long.” Rolling my eyes, he smirked; I think he knew I was talking to her. He showed me the guard houses and the warriors. He even showed me where the new recruits stay while training. We walked down a path where there were stables. I saw two beautiful black stallions in their stall; they were black, the female had a white mark on her head; that's the only way you can tell them apart. “These two beauties come out in the morning to run around so they can keep muscles in their legs. We haven't tried to ride them; I'm not sure if they will let us, but I've had them for several years. I saved them from slaughter. I come out here from time to time to brush them and sometimes even talk to them.” I couldn't help but smile. Horses can tell when someone is upset; I had one many years ago. The only reason why I don't have her now is that rogues jumped on her and killed her. I mourned for months; I still think about her from time to time. He even walked me over to a greenhouse; I was excited about this. I loved gardening. Looking over at Hunter, he had a faraway look on his face, like he was thinking about something. Then I asked, “This was your mate's?” He nodded yes and then said, “Yes, it was. She loved to garden; she grew so many flowers in here, you name it, she probably did it.” I thought for a moment and then thought of an idea. “You know, I love gardening. I could probably get these flowers back to life if you let me. I could do it in memory of her.” “You know you don't have to do that right. I could build you a greenhouse; you don’t have to compete with her.” I couldn't help but softly laugh. Listen, I know I'm not competing with her. I love to garden, and once they are back to living, I could plant them in a flower garden. I could place each flower beside one of the pack member's houses. That way, they will have something to remember her by. I don't mind doing that, trust me, I don't. "As long as you want to do this, it's up to you on what you want to do. Come on, let me show you the grand hall." While we were walking, he showed me the chicken coop, not for eating but for the eggs. He showed me several sheds with tools inside. He even showed me his house, but I have a feeling we won't be going inside anytime soon, and that's okay. If he's not ready, then I'm okay with that. Thirty minutes later, he showed me the grand hall. Opening the two large wooden doors with large windows, we walked inside. It was empty, with nothing but marble tables and chairs. Some were black, some were white. "The hall is for mating parties and graduation. In a few days, it will be used for your Luna ceremony. I already have the omegas ordering things to start decorating. We can have it in a week if you want; I don't want to rush you into anything you don't want to do." "A few weeks will be alright. A few days feel too soon, but a few weeks will be alright. I'm not sure what to do in a Luna ceremony, but I'm good with it." We walked a few minutes in silence, then we went through a trail to a little waterfall. It was beautiful. After we sat and talked for a while, I noticed that it was getting dark. We spent most of the day outside. We started walking back to the pack house. "Come on, let's get inside. We're about to eat. The cooks said we're having steak and shrimp tonight, so I hope you're hungry." I knew I was; my stomach had been growling for the last few hours. I'm surprised he hasn't heard it. We walked into the house. He walked me into a dining room where it was just me, him, his beta, and his beta's mate. "Sometimes we eat with the pack, but I wanted you to meet the beta's mate. She's a sweet girl who mostly stays to herself. Maybe you can bring her out of her shell." "Well, maybe I could. Who knows."
