rejection 3

Chapter 3 Alpha Roman POV It's been three years since that girl had been gone. When her parents died, I went to her house, knocking as loud as I could. I really didn't care that the girl was young; I could place her with anyone. When she turned 15, I sent her to warrior camp. It would take five years for her to graduate and become the best warrior there was, but I needed to reject her. Carrie and I have been dating for three years. I told her I wanted her as my chosen mate; she would be stronger than Angela. I will train her myself. She already showed great leadership in putting the lower ranks in their place. She was sitting in my lap when one of the guards came into the office. “Sir, one of the guards at the east borders saw Angela. She should be here in about an hour.” Smirking, I knew that once she arrived, I knew what I had planned. I was going to showcase Carrie and me right in her face, making it clear that I chose Carrie over her because she was much stronger. I wanted Carrie here before Angela's arrival, so I mind-linked my soon-to-be mate. “Carrie, I want you here in forty-five minutes. I want you dressed to impress, no sleazy clothes. You're going to be Luna soon, so dress like one.” I didn't have to wait long; I had already marked her. All we needed to do was the ceremony, which would be tomorrow night. She was excited about it, though it wouldn't be anything grand - just me, her, and one of the warriors as a witness. An elder would be present, but I wanted Angela gone before he arrived. I didn't want any annoying ex-mates sobbing around because of rejection. “Alright, Roman, I will dress to impress. I can't wait for her to get here so you can reject that girl. She's an orphan who needs to be banished.” Smirking, I thought, that's my girl. She is sure to be a good leader. I liked her. I don't have to love her to produce strong pups; she has a great body and a sexy six-pack. She works out with the warriors, though she needs additional training. I make her train in the gym to get even stronger. By the end of the day, she's worn out, but I make her work even harder in the bedroom if you get what I mean. The link was shut off. Pouring myself a drink and lighting up a cigar, I sat back down to do some paperwork. I didn't have much, just a few papers to read and sign. Then, I would check the email. Probably nothing but scam stuff, but I looked anyway. Forty minutes later, Carrie walked into my office wearing a brown pantsuit. Her red hair was in a messy bun, and she was wearing just the right amount of makeup - not too messy. The last time she wore makeup, she looked like a clown, so I had one of the omegas show her how to apply it lightly. She smelled so good. I wanted to take her right there on my desk, but not at that moment; Angela should be here soon. I pulled Carrie into my lap, kissing her when another guard entered the room. “Sir, Angela is driving through the gates; she should be here in about ten minutes.” “Alright, go greet her on the steps, then bring her here.” Angela's Point of View It took six hours to get here, but I finally arrived. I had to stop at the gates to talk to the guards. I remember both of them. "Hey, Howard, Hey Guss, wanna let me inside so I can get this over with?" They chuckled. Guss walked over, looking into the van window. "Long time no see, girl. Where have you been?" "Warrior camp, but he wants me back here for some reason. The faster I get inside, the faster I can leave," he laughed, telling Howard to open up the gates for me. Once he did that, I drove right inside. I drove up to the house I grew up in, parked the van, went inside, took the duffle bag in, and walked over to the pack house. This better be good. If I'm here for something stupid. I was now standing against the wall with my arms crossed, waiting for him and his girlfriend to stop smooching so we could get this over with. I wanted to gag, but I was looking anywhere but at the couple who were sitting and giggling. Twenty minutes later, she finally got up from his lap. "Let me finish here, and I'll see you later tonight. Then we can talk about that ceremony," she kissed him on the cheek and said okay. She walked past me, smirking from ear to ear. What in the world is her problem? I haven't been here for three years, and this place still hasn't changed. She walked out, shutting the door behind us. I really wished the door would have stayed open. But let's just get this over with. He got up from his chair, walked around the desk, leaned back with his arms crossed over his chest, and was smirking from ear to ear. "So, Angela, I hear that you will be eighteen in ten hours, am I correct?" "Yes, sir, I will shift then head back to Warrior camp. Is that all you want to know? I knew I needed to come back here to shift..." He cut me off before I had a chance to say anything else. How rude! But I quickly found out why he wanted me back here. This was stupid; he could have done this before I left. Why is he doing this now? The dumbass, my wolf Bella, was growling. She did not like this alpha at all. "I could care less if you were shifting here or not. What I wanted you back here for is for this." "I, Alpha Roman Core, reject you, Angela Moore, as my mate and Luna of this pack. I hereby banish you from the Blue Sky pack." I was a little surprised I was a mate to this jerk. I was so happy I was never close to this jerk. Thank the goddess he was rejecting me. I do not want to be trapped here. "I, Angela Moore, accept your rejection. In return, I reject you as my alpha and mate for life. I also accept being banished from this pack." Watching him clutch his chest, falling down on his knees, he growled at me. I think he thought I was going to beg him to keep me as his mate. Nah, all I wanted was to be out of here. I had ten hours to get settled so I could shift. When the pain ended, he stood up, snarling at me. I wanted to smirk because that didn't scare me. Was he thinking I was going to cower toward him? “You have one hour to get your s**t and get the f**k off my land, or I will kill you myself,” I shrugged. I was planning on leaving here anyways. Leaving the office, I hurried to my house. I packed photos, clothes, dishes, everything that would fit in my van. I even took the TV and the rug that my parents bought. While I was doing this, I was destroying the house. When everything was done, I lit a match and tossed it in the gas that I poured all over the house. I got into the van, then sped off. Howard stopped me at the gate. “Leaving so soon?” “Yeah, he only wanted me here so he could reject me then banish me. I shrugged it off.” “Yeah, it looks like you're really heartbroken.” We both laughed as he opened the gate for me to leave. “See you around, Howard.” I sped through the gates. I was halfway to the border when I heard the sirens going off; those sirens are only for fires. I smirked, knowing he was pissed. I really didn't care. Did he think I was going to leave that house to someone else? Nope, I burnt it down. I called Tessa. “Hey, I'm on my way back. I will only have five hours left when I get there.” “Angela, you can't come back. Your alpha called and told Tec that you burnt down your house, then ran. There's a killing warrant out for you.” I laughed as I told her what had happened, and then she started laughing herself. “I'll tell Teacher Tec the truth. He will let you come back. Just continue to be on the way. I'll call you in an hour.” “Alright, I'm on the way.”
