Chapter 19
Shaun called Ryan early Monday morning to let know him he was on his way over. “And don’t tell me I should go home and sleep. It’s my day off.”
“Isn’t it too early to go to the DMV?” Ryan asked.
“They open at nine. The earlier we get there, the less time we have to stand in line.”
“All right. I’m about to go down to breakfast.”
“Good. I’ve already eaten so gobble it down.” Shaun laughed then hung up.
“Gobble it down. Right.” Ryan got his hoodie, put what he needed in the pocket, then went down to eat.
“Going somewhere?” Miss Gina asked when he appeared in the dining room.
“Yep. Shaun’s picking me up so I can get my driver’s license, to replace the one I lost.”
“Are you going to have them send it here?”
