Someone clears his throat and Jayden snaps his eyes open, pulling away from Alys who appears to have lost consciousness. The witch is watching them with curious eyes. “Hmm… by any chance, do we have an explanation for what happened?” Jayden looks around. The dome barrier is gone. And so are the horde of demons trying to breach it. The sky is clear again, the grass is green—or even greener, if that makes sense. There are even wildflowers swaying in the wind. Everywhere he looks, there is a lovely, healthy color of life renewed. It feels like spring, instead of the fall season they are currently in.
