Why is a witch a part of the King’s trusted Council? Also, he seems so young—too young to be advising the old lycan king on how to better serve his people.
One would instinctively think he’d somehow cast a spell on King Lakàn to get the job, but Alys keeps those thoughts to herself, not wanting to be rude or offensive. Perhaps he’s truly gifted or well-connected enough that her father decided it was worth keeping him around.
