She slowly shifted from her sleep.

She checked the time and it was around 3am. Which meant she had been out for more than 5hours.

"I came over to your room but you were gone. I waited for like 2 hours and you were still not back. I went downstairs to ask if anybody had seen you going out but no one had so I figured you had gone to the next room. When I knocked, nobody came so I tried to open the door and to my surprise, it was unlocked so I came in and found you passed out on the bed". Austin explained.

"Does anybody else know about this?". She asked him.

"Not yet, I only called a doctor who checked you up but said nothing was wrong with you. He just said you passed out because you were tired. No drugs or mark on you was detected. Now it's your turn, tell me what happened".

"Nothing, I just went over to the next room, I met Adric but I guess I was too tired so I passed out. When you came was he still in there?".

"No, the hotel confirmed he had just checked out. But why would he leave you lying on his bed?"

"I guess he was just too shocked when I passed out".

"Call back and ask for his next destination". She added.

Austin pulled out his phone and dialed the number of their headquarters.

"Rusuv, we will need the next destination of Mr Adriano. He has already checked out of the hotel".

"On it, it might take a while so I suggest ya'll rest up and I'll call you as soon as I get the information", came Rusuv's voice from the other end of the call.

"Got it", Austin responded and Rusuv quickly ended the call.

"What did he say?", she asked him as soon as she noticed that the call had ended.

"He said it might take a couple of hours so we should rest. He'll call us back". Austin said while placing his phone back into his pocket.

"Do you have anything to eat in here?", she asked him.

"I'll call for room service". He walked over to the room telephone and quickly dialed the number for room service. They exchanged pleasantries and apologies for calling this early before placing the order.

"They'll be here in a few minutes".

"Let me go get my phone, I'll be right back", she said walking over to the door. She walked over to her room which was just opposite Austin's.

She went straight to her bedroom as she recalled leaving her phone there. She picked up her phone from the bedside. As she was about to walk out, something from the corner of her eye caught her attention. She walked over to her bag and opened it.

It definitely looked like somebody was going through her belongings. She doubted it was Austin but then Austin said he was there for like 2 hours.

If somebody had broken in he could've heard them.

She went back to Austin's room.

"Did you go through my bags?", she asked Austin as soon as she got back to his room.

"No, is there something missing?".

"Nothing is missing but somebody did rummage through my largage".

"I thought I heard somebody in your bedroom but when I went over there was nobody there". Austin added.

"The f*cken balcony. He must have gotten in through the balcony and was able to escape real quick". She concluded.

(ding Dong) the doorbell rang. Austin walked over to get it.

"Come in", he said holding the door wide enough for the room service.

"I thought I had rested enough but after eating i do feel like taking another nap".
