CHAPTER 6

Kingdom of Koshen, located in the middle of Cavax and Pavon, a kingdom of beauty, in Koshen, spirits and humans interacted on a daily basis, the spirits in Koshen were ranked from F to X, F to C ranked spirits belonged to the normal humans helping them in their daily lives like cooking, cleaning, arranging of things, lifting of heavy objects and other normal human necessity. The royal family of Koshen possessed S to SSS ranked spirits, once a member of the royal household was born, a spirit leaves the spirit altar and merges with that member, in Koshen there was no limit to the amount of spirits one could contract with the highest being five SSS ranked spirits all contracted by King Munak of Koshen, all soldiers had to possess at least one A ranked spirit before they could be inscribed into the army, the generals of the army all had three A ranked spirts each. The strength of three C ranked spirit is equivalent to one B ranked spirit, three B ranked equals one A ranked spirit but three A ranked spirit is not equivalent to one S ranked, twelve A ranked spirits equals one S ranked spirit, so this gave the royal family of Koshen total control over the army. The hierarchy is as follows; The King, the seven princes, the three generals, so if the king is not available the seven princes have the authority to take control of the 700,000 troops of Koshen.

King Munak is normally a Divine Human Transcendent Realm expert but the way his kingdom has stayed secure from the threat of Soliam, Dimof and Wavest is because once he merges with his spirits, his power is elevated to Quasi-God realm, Koshen is land rich in diamonds and gold, it is one of the most coveted kingdoms and its riches is second only to Cavax. In one of the palaces of Koshen, people are running up and down because one of the kings’ concubine is about to give birth "AAAARRRRRGH" screams can be heard all over the palace, maids are running in and out with buckets, in with water, out with blood “COME OUT YOU THIS DAMN CHILD, NOW!!! AAAARRRRRGGGHHH” immediately silence prevails and “waaaa...waaaa...waaaa” the cry of a child can be heard in the palace, meanwhile as the child is born, the priests in charge of the spirit altars are shocked at what is happening in their front, the seven spirit altars are shaking violently, they c***k open and WHOOOSH WHOOOSH WHOOOSH WHOOOSH WHOOOSH WHOOOSH WHOOOSH, seven spirits immediately leave, five go the palace and two go to the slums of the kingdom and merge into the body of an F ranked spirit holder who is sleeping. The King disappears from his throne room and appears in the room where his newly born child is, picks the child up and disappears from the room, the child mother immediately wakes up “Guards, my son has been taken” a figure walks out of the shadows, knocks the mother out and goes back into the shadows.

The King notices the child in his arms has a wingless dragon tattoo, a unicorn tattoo, a bird tattoo, a horse tattoo and a nine tailed fox tattoo, he places the child on an altar and steps back, the tattoo glows and five spirits appear, he tries to release his spirits but only one appears, the Griffon appears and SCREEECH, the Dragon spirit ROOOOAAAARRRS, the Griffon hurriedly disappears back into the body of the king “if my spirts are to scared to face you five, how will i protect my son?”, immediately the five spirits send a projection into the kings mind, the king sees two other spirits leaving the altar and going to the slums “a protector has been chosen, find him, train him and he will keep our host, your son, safe from harm, we go into a deep slumber now as we have exhausted a lot of energy to show you this information, take care King Munak” the five spirits enter back into the child and the tattoo stops glowing, the king has shock written on his face because spirits that were not contracted to him spoke to him like as if they knew him from somewhere, he immediately picks the child from the altar appears back in the mothers room, placing the child in the cradle, he looks at the corners of the room “you all should protect my son, let no one harm him, if a drop of his hair falls, you all die” he disappears.

In another palace in Koshen, a young man is seen sparring with soldiers of the kingdom, this young man is Kanan, Crowned Prince of Koshen, first born son of King Munak, contracted to four spirits, two S ranked and two SS ranked, a servant rushes towards the edge of the arena “my prince you have a new brother” the servant says to Kanan while bowing, the prince quickly finishes his spar

Adorn

The prince uses two spells to wash himself and adorn a purple garment, he snaps his fingers and a young griffon appears before him, he mounts it, he touches the mane and the beast takes off towards the concubines’ palace, on arriving, he jumps off the griffon and lands in the courtyard with a great force forming a small crater, immediately twelve figures with two SS ranked spirits each surround the prince while unsheathing their weapons, the prince raises his hands in surrender “Woah!, chill, I just came to see my newly born brother” prince Kanan says while l looking at the beings that are surrounding him, a man runs out from the building into the courtyard “my prince, sorry for all this but the king has given explicit instructions that your brother cannot be revealed till the fourth appearance of the full moon” the man says while bowing, the looks at the man in confusion but later smirks, snaps his fingers, a griffon appears and they both take off towards the main palace.

The first queen is in her palace known as the palace of Sansha, Queen mother to King Munak, she is currently in her garden with Prince Zaenan and Prince Shuran who have come to see her, Prince Zaenan is pale faced, white in colour, eyes of a hunter and supple pink lips, he has a lean frame and is tall in height, he is adorned with a black robe that has green spiral designs on it, Prince Shuran is also pale faced but looks sickly, he has an aura of near death always leaking out of him, this is as a result of him contracted to a death spirit, he is adorned with a red robe with black skull designs on it. Queen Sansha tends to her flowers as a mother tends to its own, she looks at her two grandsons playing with each other and smiles, Zaenan has always been the only one of Shuran’s siblings that can come close to him, Zaenan has a specialized magic known as one with Life that helps negate the deathly aura around Shuran “Zaenan, Shuran, come let us go and see…oh never mind, you boys continue playing, I will be back shortly” she looks at her grandsons and looks at a dark corner of the garden “I leave them in your care” she disappears, a panther comes out of that dark corner and walks up to the two boys playing and lays beside them “Why is she always paranoid?, well the internal war of the royal family is bad but this two are not weak, both of them together can beat that Kanan” the panther thinks to itself.

King Munak is in the war palace of Koshen in a closed door meeting with his three generals and war advisors, they are pondering on whether they should go now and offer congratulations to the new god realm expert or if they should wait and go later, the king wants to go now but his advisors think it is too dangerous, the kingdom of Pavon is an enemy nation on the east of their borders, so if the strongest figures in Koshen leave to Cavax, the kingdom will not be secure, immediately noise could be heard on the other side of the door “I demand to see the king at once” a voice says, another voice replies “My prince, the king is in a meeting with the war council, wait when the meeting is done, I will inform him of your presence” the kings guard says while bowing forty five degrees “I need you to go in there and inform the king of my presence, I will cut you down where you stand, I am the Crowned Prince of Koshen” the prince says while activating his four spirits, immediately a chop sound is head and the prince falls unconscious “I apologize for the disrespectful attitude Prince Kanan has shown towards the Kings Guard, I hope we can let this matter end here” a man adorned with blue and golden plated robes addresses the guard while carrying the Crowned Prince on his shoulder, this man is Prince Shunak, Lord of Kosen, Minister of Finance and the Kings only surviving brother, immediately he disappears.

Kosen is the city of gold, capital city of Koshen and home to the royal household, all the tax collected from Koshen city lords are all deposited in royal vault and all this wealth are controlled by one man the lord of Kosen and minister of finance, Prince Shunak is the elder brother of King Munak but gave up the throne to oversee the wealth of Koshen as that also gives him the freedom to train his spirits, he is contracted to four spirits, three SSS ranked and one SS ranked, individually he is a Divine Human Transcendent but when he merges with his spirits, he touches upon the Demi-God realm, Prince Koshen appears in his massive palace second only to the kings palace and places the prince in a room with gold designs, he gently places the prince on the bed, conjures water out of thin air and drops it on the Prince Kanan’s face, Kanan immediately wakes up in confusion “who attacked me?, why does this place look familiar?”, he scans the room and sees his uncle smiling at him “Kanan, what was that stunt you were about to pull with the Kings guard?” Kanan, stands up from the bed and snaps his fingers immediately his clothes change colour to white and all the water on his body fades away “Uncle, we have given the royal guard too much leeway to act anyhow, so it is best if we teach some of them lessons soon, the chain of command puts me above them, why will I not be given face when I demand to see the king, I am the Crowned Prince of Koshen and my word is law” Prince Kanan says while sitting on one of the miniature thrones in the room. Prince Shunak sighs “look here you little brat, yes as the Crowned Prince of Koshen, you have authority over the affairs of the Kings guard but that authority only comes to effect if the King is not on the throne, also there is an unwritten rule about the Kings Guard, they are not to be instigated, they only respect the authority of the throne, you do not currently sit on the throne of Koshen so do not expect them to give you face when the current your father is in a war meeting, why were you even at the palace?” Prince Shunak also takes a seat, Prince Kanan flicks his hands and two cups of red hot steaming elixirs appear on a stool “I have a new born brother, went to see him but the king says we cannot see him until the appearance of the fourth full moon, now the king needs to at least give a reason as to why that is so, let it not be that he is hiding an abomination or the child is dead” Prince Shunak ponders deeply “the king will not hide an abomination, no matter the seal he uses, I will know and I can bypass it but your father the king, will not want to antagonize the royal family because of an unborn child, go back to your training I would speak with the King” he teleports to the main palace, Prince Kanan gets up and teleports to his own palace.
