CARSON STARED DOWN MAIN Street at the eclectic businesses in Black Hollow, the summer wind teasing his shaggy hair. Without even realizing he did it, he reached up and brushed his bangs out of his eyes as he tried to decide which way to go. He still wasn’t even sure it was all real and not some hallucination from the gas station sushi he had on the road yesterday. Everything around him still seemed so otherworldly to him. Across the street was the small, well-manicured park with a gazebo in the middle of a roundabout he noticed yesterday, which was where he was heading at the moment, as he soaked in his surroundings. If he looked to the right, he saw a coffeehouse run by a demon from what the Sandman told him that morning, a clothing store owned by a mummy, and a yeti’s ice cream parlor. T
