Amara POV

I woke up at 5am wrapped in Lucas arms. I can’t believe I am his mate. I’m mated to a arrogant alpha. I slowly get up and check my phone. Jaxon says he put his feelers out and is waiting for information. I need to go work out and clear my head. I leave a note for Lucas before teleporting back to my home. I change into my favorite mint sports b*a, black leggings and nikes. I quickly go to my fridge and pack a thermos of blood for after my run. I take off for a nice run into the woods.

Lucas POV

I woke up feeling cold. I look at the clock and see it’s 8am. I roll over and see my bed is empty. Where did she go! I look around frantically. Her scent is fading. She must have left a few hours ago says Leo. I quickly get up and run down to the kitchen. Maybe she is down stairs getting something to eat. I walk into the kitchen and find Ace and Beth sitting at the kitchen bar having breakfast. “Have either of you Amara?” I ask. “What do you mean? She’s gone” Ace says. “She’s probably around here somewhere. She may have went for a walk. I can’t wait to meet her” Beth rambles on. Where are you Amara I think out hopping she can here me.

Amara’s POV

“Where are you Amara” I hear Lucas say out through his mind. I decide I should teleport back. I teleport back into the house. It appears I’m in the kitchen. “Omg, what just happens” a girl screamed out. “Amara! I didn’t know you could just appear” Lucas says. I only laugh “yes I can teleport. It’s one of my stolen gifts.”

“I’m Beth by the way. I’m Aces mate and the Bata female. It’s nice to meet you Luna” the girl says. “Just call me Amara. It’s nice to meet you Beth” I say taking a drink from my thermos. “Where did you go baby” Lucas says. “I went for a run. And contacted Jaxon” I said.

Lucas POV

She just teleported into the kitchen. Omg she’s hot. I didn’t know she had tattoos Leo says. She is hot. I look at my mate talking to Beth. She has a Roses with vines going up her side and under her right breast. She has a moon and stars on one wrist and a keltic knot on the other. I can’t wait to see her n***d when we mate and mark her pants Leo. I look over to Amara just laughing. “You have one horny wolf don’t you” she says. I look at her confused. “I can hear your thoughts” she said. What she can hear my thoughts! She is amazing.

“Are you hungry” I ask her trying to move past the awkward moment. “No I’m good” she says while shaking her thermos. Does she has blood in there? “Yes It is” she says with a laugh. That is going to take some getting used to”
