Bella asks me if I have feelings for Elle and I stutter, having not expected the question. I know the answer and I don’t wanna lie to her; she doesn’t deserve that but I can’t bring myself to say it. How do I look the woman I love in the eye and tell her I have feelings for someone else? “Baby, I love you. Can we not do this here, please?”
“-Can we not do what? I asked you a simple question. Just answer my question, Lucah. Do you have feelings for her or not?”
“It’s complicated, Bella,” I reply, not knowing what else to say, and a stray tear runs down her cheek before she quickly wipes it off.
“I see,” she mutters, nodding her head and the pain in her eyes causes me to clench my jaw, tears pooling in my eyes. “Bab-” I start to say but she turns around, attempting to walk away.
