I walk inside Kat’s room to find her opening her eyes before looking at me, looking disoriented. “You’re up. How are you feeling?” I ask, sitting on the chair next to her bed.
“Better than a few hours ago. Where’s Bella?”
“She had to go to the office quickly, but she’ll be back soon,” I reply, and her face instantly turns into a frown, probably because it’s late.
“What time is it?”
