Chapter 15Simon slowly opened his eyes. It was quite bright outside. Simon realized he must have forgotten to shut the curtains the previous evening. He smiled when Augustus shifted impossibly closer to hug him even more tightly. His arm was numb, especially the region between his shoulder and elbow, and it ached a little because Augustus had fallen asleep on it. Simon wasn’t complaining about it, though. “Stop it.” Simon was startled upon hearing that. “What?” “I said stop it.” Simon was bewildered. “Stop what?” “Staring at me.” “I’m not.” “Liar,” Augustus retorted, and he sounded amused. “I don’t have to open my eyes to know that you’re ogling me.” Simon laughed even louder. “You’ve caught me, but it’s not my fault. You’re so goddamn beautiful, and I’ve wanted you for so long.”
