Chapter 17Earlier that afternoon, when Simon mentioned having dinner at a restaurant, Augustus had assumed that the establishment would be posh and obviously expensive. He wasn’t sure why he had thought of it like that, though. It had just come to mind out of nowhere. After receiving a text message from Simon with the address of the restaurant in it, Augustus decided to walk all the way there because according to the online map, it was less than ten minutes away from his hotel. Upon reaching the destination, he was shocked. The restaurant was crowded, and old, and the owner hadn’t installed any air-conditioning. The inside wasn’t that spacious so many customers had to stand outside until it was their turn to head into the restaurant.
“Why this restaurant?” Augustus asked after the server
