“Will you and Mr Thackery be taking those refreshments in the sunroom? Or perhaps the balcony? I hear that it’s to be one of the last nice days of summer.” A girl, chipper and light of step, asked. Dressed wholly in black, I recognised her from her comings and goings around Briarthorn. I thought she might have something to do with the kitchens but I wasn’t sure. Also, I didn’t know her name off the top of my head. Eloise needed to mandate that all of the staff wear name tags or something. It would make learning everyone’s name much easier.
