Alex scanned the grounds of the Healers’ Guild, noting the number of healers that had frozen at the appearance of him and his people. It only took a moment before one of them turned and bolted at a dead run towards the healers’ complex and disappeared into its depths. Alex traded amused glances with Kyle and Jess, yet all of them kept alert for potential trouble and checked their immediate surrounds for a mental signature that would tell them that one of their own kind, one of the Kin, was here masquerading as a healer instead of what they really were.
