Kyle assessed his own internal state, a satisfied smile spreading on his lips as he realised that while he was a little nervous about heading out into the world again, he was essentially back in control. He hadn’t felt this calm and stable in what seemed a lifetime. Primarily he felt relieved to be free, swearing to himself he would never be that stupid again.
