The phone rang a few times before someone picked it up.
"Hey" I spoke.
"Who's this?" Jackson's deep sleepy voice came from the other side.
"Adelia", I whispered, clenching my shirt.
"Can't I sleep in peace?" he muttered, "how the f**k you got my number? And what do you want?"
"I was actually planning to murder you" I whispered under my breath, "just wanted your consent."
"The f**k woman you drunk?" he asked.
"Never mind" I spoke hastily "I just wanted to let you know mom and dad are coming."
"So what?" he asked blandly. I could hear him moving around
"So what?" I repeated, "they are your in-laws Jackson."
"They are your parents" he spoke stubbornly, "stop bothering me. I need to sleep. It's 1 am for heavens sake! Do me a favor next time, call me at a reasonable time."
