The Bloodline Pack
The rain had thinned into a slow, restless drizzle, tracing uneven lines across the towering glass walls of the mansion. Beyond it, the entire territory of the Bloodline Pack stretched under the night, rows of modern villas, training grounds lit in soft white, patrol routes moving like silent shadows.
At the very center stood the Alpha Kings’ residence.
High ceilings framed with dark wood, warm golden lights cast across polished marble floors, and a wide seating arrangement that faced a low black table where the invitation cards had just been placed.
Everything was arranged with intention.
Because this house belonged to Alpha Kings.
Alpha king Damon Brown stood near the long glass wall, his broad frame still, his presence alone enough to shift the air around him.
Dark military-cut hair sat perfectly in place, sharp against his strong features. His piercing blue eyes reflected faint light from the city beyond, cold and focused, as if they were looking through distance not at it.
He wore a fitted black shirt, sleeves folded just enough to reveal his forearms, faint scars marking his right skin, silent proof of battles that didn’t belong to the peaceful world outside.
He didn’t move, or speak, just stood there. But his silence carried weight.
Because Damon wasn’t a man who wasted thought.
And when he stood still like this
It meant that something dangerous had already been decided.
Behind him, his twin brother Alpha King Logan Brown leaned casually against the arm of a sofa, flipping one of the invitation cards between his fingers.
If Damon was controlled. Logan was controlled chaos. Same face. Same sharp jawline. Same striking blue eyes.
Both twin brothers are Identical in appearance, but opposite in nature.
Logan's long dark hair fell slightly over his forehead, styled without effort. His black shirt was unbuttoned at the collar, sleeves pushed back carelessly, giving him a relaxed, almost reckless appearance.
But nothing about him was careless.
His eyes were alive. Observing his brother with an amused face.
Dangerous in a way people didn’t notice until it was too late.
He watched Damon for a moment before speaking, his tone light, but precise.
“You’ve been standing there for half an hour, are you liking the rain now?” he said lazily.
"I did not like the rain." Damon didn’t turn immediately.
“Because it's bringing back memories? You’re thinking about her.” He asked without hesitation.
“I’m deciding something.” Damon's voice was low and calm.
Logan smirked faintly.
“That’s worse,” Logan replied. “You only ‘decide’ when you’ve already made up your mind and are just figuring out how far you’re willing to go.”
This time, Damon slowly turned.
His gaze met Logan’s. The air changed.
“I’m done searching blindly,” Damon said. “And I’m done waiting.”
Logan’s smirk faded.
"Is that why you send invitation cards to all the alphas? And out of a condition that they have to come with their families.” Damon’s voice didn’t change.
"Yes," Damon said calmly.
Logan let out a soft breath that almost sounded like a laugh.
“And if someone refuses?” Logan asked casually.
Damon’s eyes didn’t even flicker.
“They won’t.”
Because everyone in that room knew the truth. They were Alpha Kings.
Rejection wasn’t an option.
Logan pushed himself upright, walking toward the table slowly, his fingers brushing over the edge of the cards that were left by Beta.
“Anniversary party, Family gathering. Celebration.” He said lightly.
He stopped for a moment. Then his eyes slid toward Damon.
“Or a hunt? What are you planning?” Logan asked.
Damon didn’t answer. Logan’s voice dropped slightly. Only Damon heard.
“You really think she’ll come? Your mysterious girl?” Logan asked.
Damon’s gaze returned to the glass. Rain is still falling.
“She’s alive. She will definitely come.” Damon is certain about this.
Logan studied him carefully.
“After all these years?” he pressed. “No name. No record. No trace. It’s like she vanished into thin air. Did you think she appeared again?”
Damon’s jaw tightened slightly.
“She didn’t vanish,” he said. “She was taken by someone. I tried to stop Dad. But he still took me away from her. But she was not there when we searched. Not even... Her... Body.... It means she is alive.”
"That rogue attack was hard. Many kids die because of them. Did you think she survived?"
"Yes, she is... I never forget her scent when she hugs me and takes blows from rogues. I will never forget her touch...." Damon closed his eyes as he mentioned her.
Logan smiles softly.
"Huh... How did you say that she must be Alpha's daughter? Maybe, she was Beat, Gamma, or Omega's daughter. That park was open for all kids." Logan made a valid point.
"Did you think I mistook her as the alpha's daughter?" Damon opened his eyes and asked.
"I'm just saying..." Logan struggled with his shoulders helplessly.
"I feel her Alpha blood. This scar in my arm is prof. She must be has same scar on her arm or on her face. The rogue attacked me, scratched me, and pushed me too. I smell her pure Alpha blood. I will not make a mistake." Damon said series face.
"Your observation is nice. But your story is worrying me. If she is injured like you, then she won't survive. You need months to recover from that wound. It was poisonous." Logan looks at his ears as he says.
"No. Dad says she must be taken by her parents for sure. And if that happens... And she is still alive when she comes to our party. And this time... I won’t lose her again.” Damon's words didn’t sound emotional.
But they hit harder than emotion ever could. Logan’s expression shifted slightly. Because this wasn’t gratitude anymore. His brother was obsessed with that girl.
“What happens when you find her?” Logan asked straightforwardly.
Damon didn’t look at him.
“I’ll give her whatever she wants. She saved my life. She serves everything in this world.”
"Anything?” Logan’s brows lifted slightly.
“Yes, Anything.” Daman said calmly.
Silence stretched.
Logan studied him carefully now.
Really looked at him, his playful smile vanished.
“Are you in love with her?” Logan asked.
The question landed clean and direct.
Damon didn’t answer. Didn’t deny or confirm.
He just held Logan’s gaze and said nothing. That silence said everything.
“Or are you planning to make her your Luna?” Logan added quietly.
This time something in Damon’s eyes shifted. But enough Logan to notice. He exhaled slowly.
“Careful, brother.” He said. “That position isn’t built on memory. Or debt. Or obsession. You can have fun with that girl, give her money as much as she wants, a house, a car, jewellery, anything she wants. But not Luna's position.”
He paused, keeping his eyes straight to his twin.
“Our Luna will be our true mate. Not a chosen one.” His words were firm, not aggressive.
But not negotiable either.
Suddenly, they heard footsteps approaching.
Their mother Maria Brown entered first, her honey-brown hair falling neatly over her shoulders, her blue eyes warm, but not unaware.
Their younger sister Mona followed behind her, her expression already carrying a playful curiosity.
“You two are planning something?” Mona asked lightly, glancing between the twins.
Logan smirked.
“Always.” He chuckles.
Maria’s gaze shifted between them. Then softened slightly.
"You don't have to do all this. A small pack party will be ok for us. You two are already so busy with pack duties and human business. I don't want you to work this hard." She said,
Logan stood up and walked toward her. He hugged her from behind.
"Mom, it's not just a party. It's your wedding anniversary. The day you and our cold father marry each other. We have to celebrate this day. It's not tiring." He said with a warm hug.
“Still clingy baby.” Maria patted his cheek with love.
Logan pulled back, because Mona hugged Maria.
"Yeah, we are excited. Mom, I invite all my friends. I'm excited to show them my new dress and jewellery." Mona said in an excited tone.
"Always think about showing off." Logan chuckles as he sits back to
"Hey, we girls are like this. Once your mate comes into this house she will be company." Mona shows tongue playfully.
"I hope she won't like you at all. I don't want another fashion crazy girl in my house." Logan said in a teasing tone.
"She will... We can bet on this." Mona said in a challenging tone.
“Enough! Both of you.” Maria snapped them with a soft smile on her face.
“He started.” Mona pointed at Logan.
“You started.” Logan pointed to Mona.
Maria laughs at their childish behavior.
“You two were not kids anymore. Look at Damon. He never argues or fights like you two. “ Maria pointed at Damon.
But her eyes frowned. Damon is still staring outside.
“Because he is busy thinking about someone else.” Logan said.
“Oh, it's raining… he must be thinking about the same girl he met in childhood.”
“Mona!” Logan put his hand on her mouth and looked at his mother.
Maira already understands what her son is thinking about. She walks toward Damon.
“Why did you speak so loudly?” Logan whispered.
“Sorry. I forgot.” Mona
Logan pushed her onto the sofa.
“Hey!” Mona frowned.
Logan ignores her walk to his mother. Maria stood beside Damon.
“Damon, are you thinking about that girl again?”
Damon turns to her with a careful calm face.
“Do not speak about that girl in front of your father. You know he didn't like this.” her voice
Careful.
The room stilled.
“Why, Mom? We are just talking.” Logan asked, though he already knew.
Maria’s expression changed.
“Your father was never the same after that attack,” she said quietly. “And he made it clear, no one speaks of that night.”
“So he knew who the girl was… Don't you?” Damon asked.
Maria gave him a helpless look.
“Mom, you must know about her… her pack… won't you tell us?” Logan asked as he stood beside her.
“I wish I could… But your father took a promise from me. I can't…” Maria sighs helplessly.
“Even seeing how desperate Damon is in these 19 years.” Logan said desperately.
“Logan… no. You can't push Mom like that. She has a reason. And why are you two so crazy over a girl? Why can't you just forget her?” Mona stops him.
“She saved Damon’s life. If she is not there in that place at that time, he must be in pieces. Then you only have one brother.” Logan said in a serious tone.
“Quite!!” Maria snapped them.
Both look away in frustration.
Maria holds Damon’s hand in hers. She is full of emotions.
"I know... he saved you... And for that, I will always be grateful. But the scene of that night was so horrific that neither I nor your father want to remember it. And the reason I'm hiding it from you is for your own good. So listen to me, don't bring this up with your father, even by mistake," Maria said emotionally.
Silence settled again.
Heavier this time. No one wants to swap after that.
Damon’s voice broke it.
“Fine. I won't ask again. But give me one answer… Was it connected to Alpha Jack?”
Maria hesitated.
“Come on, Mom. Just say yes or no. We won't ask again.” Logan said.
Just for a second.
“Yes.” She nodded.
Logan’s eyes meet Damon’s calm face. His lips lift in a mysterious smile. Like he found treasure. Logan narrowed slightly.
Because Damon didn't tell him about Aloha Jack.
Alpha Jack… A forbidden pack that rarely comes to their radar. As Alpha King, he has all the pack details in his files. But for some reason, Alpha Jack packed related information he didn't remember.
He only remembers his father telling him to keep away from Alpha Jack's pack. He follows his father. After that, he didn't hear his name again.
After so long a time he heard the same name again. So this wasn’t just about a missing girl.
This was something deeper.
Something hidden. Something that didn’t add to his files.
Mona clapped her hands lightly, breaking the tension with ease.
“Well,” she said brightly, “if this is an anniversary party, I expect it to be perfect. Come on, Mom. We need to select a dress for us.”
Logan smirked.
“It will be unforgettable.” Logan said.
“Yes. And I'll be in charge of Mom. I will make sure she looks stunning, beautiful. Dad falls for her again.” Mona said excitedly.
Maria smiles softly. Logan and Mona sigh softly.
“Mom is already beautiful. Don't put fake makeup on her. Keep that wall painting for your face.” Logan teases him.
“Mom, don't listen to him. Come on. It's girl time.” Mona dragged Maria with her.
Maria looks at Damon and walks away from them.
“You get what you want don't you?” Logan asked as he looked back at Damon.
“Yes. They hid everything because she was alive.” Damon said.
“Maybe you are right. But what are you planning? Tell me in advance so I'll help you.” Lovan said calmly.
“It's simple.” Damon said no more words.
“Won't tell much? Fine, do as you wish. Just don't mark her and lose your mind over her. As twin brothers, we are going to share her.” Logan surrenders in front of his cold brother.
“Share… We will talk about that later…” Damon said and turned to the window.
“Fine. I'm going back to my girlfriend’s house.” Logan says and just turns and walks.
“Be careful.” Damon warned him.
“I know…. “ Logan waved his hand.
Damon's face became serious. Because for him, it wasn't a celebration.
A calculated move.
A trap set across the entire Alpha network.
His fingers brushed lightly against the faint scars on his arm.
A memory, a reminder, and a promise he made to her.
“Did she remember me?” he murmured under his breath.
