I didn't hesitate to follow everyone out. I can't rest. My heart was pounding out of my mouth with anxiety. I had to find Elizabeth!
Carolina rushed up and tugged on my sleeve, "Take me with you! I'm going to find Elizabeth too!"
I didn't object. I knew it would be torture for Carolina to leave her waiting in the room.
My Elizabeth, please be safe. All along the way, I prayed to the moon goddess. However, all I got was bad news from my subordinates.
"Alpha, we have found a body up ahead!"
"Take me there now!"
When I saw the charred corpse, burned beyond recognition, my legs acted like they were filled with cement, and I couldn't move a step forward.
