Looking at my former close friend and right-hand man, I suddenly felt very unfamiliar with him. He didn't look anything like the Beta I knew.
"I want to know where Elizabeth is, can you make an exception and help me?"I asked in a tentative manner. He had been my father's right-hand man and then my most trusted Beta, and I didn't believe he would change completely.
"No. Elizabeth is dead. There is absolutely no point in using the Mirror of Witchcraft to see where she is."
After rejecting me, he added, "Leave the Priest's residence at once. For the safety of the Priest, ordinary people are not qualified to come here at will."
