"We'd prefer for you to have a complete mental & physical exam to ensure your health, and we'll do the same. We would pay all expenses with none older than three months. All your insurances would be paid by us as long as we're together, Derek added.

Wondering where my common sense had flown to, I looked seriously at the three and said, "I like the

idea of togetherness, security & the arrangements.

I come with no hangups, no in-laws. So I'm willing to see where this goes. Does your family know of this, and how do they feel about it?"

Dru answered camly, " I ran it by them some months ago. They like us bringing back an old way, so they agree. if we're all in, you'll be meeting them soon."

Then I started asking about sleeping arrangements. I'll have my own room with an en suite and a small nook for snacks and reading. They'll provide a new wardrobe for attending certain events with them. I can choose to sleep alone - to heck with that - have one or all as my sleep mate. We'll have no secrets and definitely no other women for them or any kind of lovers for any of us.

Dru, with a slight question in his eyes, speaks to his brothers ; then asks me if I would stand, remove my jacket, and let them touch & smell me. "Smell?" I say to myself but agree. Could he be thinking of the sparks that passed between us?

Taking a deep breath & exhaling, I stand & remove my jacket. They approach slowly, reaching for my hands. Darn! the same sparks start flying! Between all 4 of us!

Coming closer, each comes behind me & smells where my neck & shoulders meet. Did I hear a soft growl? A nervous tension insides me stirs. Nope, just my wild imagination again. I can't see their to see if the color changes.

" Give us a few minutes, please,"asks David as they retreat behind closed doors.

The Triplets. POV

"Dru, I honestly didn't believe you when you said she could be our mate," Derek exclaimed. " I wasn't really sure until she got here, but there was something in her voice when she called," Dru tried to explain." But I thought she was just human. Then I. caught a scent - just a wift-of wolf. Did you guys?"

Yes, we did, but it's so faint. We'll have to call Dad and see what he thinks. I hope they can make it , say in 2 weeks?" David chimes in.

" So it's unanimous then, " asks Dru.

"Yes."

My mind, meanwhile, is racing 100mph. Could I really do this? Could this really work? They seem so sure of themselves.

The doors open; all three emerge with smiles on their faces. " Well, Dazia, if you're agreeable, you are our choice," Dru tells me.

Okay, yes! My jaw drops as I feel my head bobbing up & down. Derek, smiling, says, "Shall we take a week of single dates to get to know each other. s*x is allowed only if both parties agree. This can be a Q& A time learning each other's quirks - everyone laughs - and values. You can choose to move in tomorrow or after the dating.

I'm truly impressed. They have thoroughly thought and planned this. " Okay, a single date with each; then see where it leads. I'll stay at my place til then. Just so you know, my bed, if used, is too short for your height," I tell them, laughing.

" We'll make do, don't worry," David answers while grinning. Dru will be my first date tomorrow night. Do I see his eyes darken again? Even the twins seem eager. What have I gotten myself into?

David writes down all my info: Phone, address, workplace, etc; helps me on with my jacket as he leans toward me, sniffing my neck. I wonder silently if this part of their culture, to get to know by the smell. Somehow, I'm starting to know their scents as well:

Dru- like a forest after the rain;

David- I pick up apples & cloves;

Derek- a tropical breeze with coconut and a touch of rum. Like nothing I've ever smelled before but so enticing.

Dru sees me back to my car, saying, " I do believe we'll make a good, strong family. I'm looking forward to having you with me, uh, with us. I'd like to kiss you if I may, " as his eyes seem to change to a deep black. Looking up, I'm swallowed up in their depths & can only nod.

He lowers his head and brushes my forehead with his lips; his hand cups the back of my head. When his lips touch mine, that's not a tremor I feel but a major voltage that steals my breath. I can see he's as deeply affected as I am.

As I gasp for air, his tongue sweeps in & grabs mine, taking complete control. He breaks the kiss & places his forehead on mine to release a deep sigh at the same time as me.I know he can hear my heart pounding in my chest. Little did I know that he, they could smell my heated desire.

Finally, wondering what just happened, I get in my car.. I feel Dru's eyes on me as I pull out of the garage.

Back at my apartment, I kick my heels off, throwing my purse & keys on the sidetable.Iflop down on my worn-out sofa & pull my feet under me. " Am I crazy?" I ask myself, I was literally shaking after that kiss & and none other has ever made me feel that way. I could sense he was holding back, tho just oozing power & lust.

I've got to tell at least one person or I'll scream. How I wish Mom were still alive. I could tell her anything! I have to be careful who I tell. Melody, my BFF since high school. We still text & meet for lunch! it's early for her, so I call. No way can I text with these quivering hands!

" Hello, galfriend, " she answers. This must be monumental calling this late."

"You might say that. I actually can't believe I did it! " shouting into the phone.

" Did What?" she asks." You didn't go back to Sam, that party hippo?"

" Mel, it's late, but could you come over now. I've so much to tell you. Bring your pjs & change of clothes; we'll do an overnight."

!"Sounds good to me. See you in 30" and hangs up. I found our favorite CDs, grab some wine & crackers & the cheese.i throw some light covers on the couch for us, then get into my baby doll pjs.

Shortly thereafter, she's at the door with more wine. " You're lucky I didn't have a date, and this better be good!" she screams & flops down on the couch. As she pours the wine, I hear, " Alright, Spill!". I can only show her the ad to start this adventure. " Read it carefully."

"But what has this got to do with you? You already have a job!"

" Just read it, please!"

"WAIT, A MINUTE! One woman to take on 3 virile hunks as a wife?!" she screams. " I know Sam was a dud & you haven't found anyone yet, but THIS!?"

"Calm down, Mel. Have some wine!"

I start by telling of my decision to go for the interview, of hearing Dru's sexy baritone that gave me chills. "Yes, I'm just home from the interview," I said, sipping my wine for fortitude. " I say where it was held, all that I saw.

"And why are they doing it this way if they're such hunks?" she quizzes me.

"They're tired of all the society debs wanting to get their hands on their assets, rather than they themselves."
