(Isolde's POV) The main lounge below deck was loud and bright. Music thumped through the floor. Voices layered over each other. Laughter that sounded forced. Marcus had dragged me onto this yacht, and I still hadn't found my footing when I felt it. A stare. Heavy and direct, cutting straight through the crowd. I turned my head. Orion. He was sitting in a corner sofa, a wine glass in his hand, and his eyes were locked on me. I watched his gaze move over the dress Marcus had shoved at me before we left. The neckline was lower than anything I'd ever chosen for myself. I hadn't had a say in it. His expression didn't change on the surface. But his eyes darkened. I could see it even from across the room. Something shifted behind those ice-blue eyes, and whatever it was, it wasn't good
