There was a pause on the other end.
"Yes, sir. Understood."
"If another one comes in, same instructions."
He hung up.
Half an hour later, HR confirmed the letter had already been received and was now sitting in a locked file.
Orion stared at the ceiling.
This woman had walked into his office, looked him in the eye, and said another male's name.
She'd said it like a wall. Like a door slamming shut.
Logan growled somewhere deep in his chest.
*She said another male's name. Ours.*
Orion's jaw tightened.
He was not going to be the one who broke someone else's mate bond.
That was a line he would not cross.
But she had lit something in him that wasn't going out on its own.
And she wasn't going anywhere until he figured out what to do about it.
