(Isolde's POV)
I told myself to hold my ground.
He was just a man. Just my boss. I'd said what I said, and I meant it.
But then Orion took another step toward me, and his Alpha presence hit me like a wall.
"Look at me," he said. His voice was low and sharp. "And say that again."
My body reacted before my brain could stop it.
A shiver ran straight down my spine.
