Episode Nine Over the revs as a freelance hunter, I saw my share of homemade weapons. Some of them, of course, were the very reason a bounty had be set—like Elgar Tiand, wanted for building and selling faulty explosive slug throwers to small corps. Others I ran into, though, were barely recognizable as weapons. And I’ll say it still amazes me the kinds of weapons some people can build with the right equipment and bit of ingenuity. I once saw a low-powered multibarrel laser built from a modified sensor package using a massive RX2 omnitreader power supply. And it worked.
