Chapter 1 Mates

“Hello, I’m Jax, Alpha Thorns son, what is your name?” He said smoothly, like velvet.

“Miss?” “Hmm? Oh my bad, I’m Alexandria Star, Blue Lakes Beta, Greg Stars youngest daughter. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Alpha.” I said clumsily.

“The pleasure is mine, Mate.” He said seductively. I could feel my flower weep as he spoke and Ash was just humming and pacing like crazy. His scent along was enough to make me sway, why hadn’t I noticed it earlier? I was finally pulled from my thoughts when he wrapped his arm around me and said “Come love, we must tell our families, this is amazing to have finally found you.” I followed but kept thinking ‘finally found me? How long has he been mateless? He can’t he much older than me.. I’m 20, only two years without one..’ but before I could ask him what I was thinking we were already in Alpha Max’s office. “Miss Star, what’s going on?” Alpha Max said . “Well Alpha, Jax is my fated.” Everyone in the room smiled and my parents and sister came rushing in and I was engulfed by my mother and sister screaming til both Alphas cleared their throats. “Well it’s about time son, we should’ve come sooner!” Alpha Thorn boomed with excitement. Jax laughed all while starring at me which sent a warm current straight to my flower. “To be 25 and no mate…” I heard some one say that snapped me back to reality, 25?? Oh my, I’m totally in for it I thought. “Alexandria, how old are you?” Alpha Thorn asked. “I’m 20, Alpha Thorn.” I said shyly. “Call me dad or Thorn, you’re the next Luna my dear. And 20 you say, what have you been doing since your 18th birthday?” He asked. “Well I’ve been at University studying Business and please, call me Alex.” I said with more confidence since my gaze from Jax was diverted. “WOW! My dear, that is wonderful to hear, intelligent and beautiful, Jax my son you have a wonderful Mate and Luna, I’m proud.” He boomed excitedly. “Well thank you, I appreciate it. I just hope to finish my studies before taking on the role of Luna at Silver Moon, if that is okay with my mate of course.” I said looking up at Jax who smiled back down at me. “Of course my little Luna, anything what is yours as long as you come back home with me after the treaty here is made and signed.” He said to me. Leave? So soon? Silver Moon is three hours away, while school is only thirty minutes away..

“Uhh if I may, what about the University I am attending now? It would be two hours away and I attending classes daily.” I said confused. “Hmm that is a problem.” All three Alphas said along with my dad. “Don’t get me wrong would love to go with you Jax, I just want to make sure plans are set to finish my studies to get my Masters in may.” I said to him and Thorn. “Well my dear we are leaving Wednesday, meaning I can have someone move your classes to online, would that make you feel better about leaving dear?” Jax said kindly to me. “Yes! Yes that would be amazing, thank you!” I said excitedly. This should be fun.
