HOPPER STRODE BOLDLY into the village, as the trolls began to emerge from their small caves. He spotted the large roundhouse in the center, and headed directly toward it. The trolls he encountered stopped to stare at the blonde intruder, but none approached or barred his path. Soon a crowd followed him through the narrow streets. Shouts of alarm could be heard, as he approached the town center. When he reached the roundhouse, several trolls stood in front of the entrance blocking his path. Hopper remained calm, and approached them slowly. He stopped before them and looked each troll in the eyes, one by one then said, “You have my son.” The trolls moved aside and allowed Hopper to enter. The roundhouse held one central room.
