" Emmm, I want to tell you something.....something.....about your husband, Nana Kwame. She strummed , something she does when she is about to reveal a bitter truth.

" Spell it out because I am strong and can handle anything you have to say about that ungrateful person. "I urged her to say what she had to say.

" Emm..emmm, do you remember Dela? The lady who's restaurant you and Nana Kwame want to celebrate your third anniversary, " Adobia said , helping me to remember the lady she was talking about.

" Oh , that you friend. I remember her. What's it with her?" I asked, not understanding why we were talking about her.

"She told me , she overhead Nana Aba , your house help, and Nana Kwame, your husband, talking about the same plan this afternoon when they went to have lunch at her restaurant." Adobia said.

" Sis Adobia, what were they talking about? Say it." I asked curiously.

" She said she heard that Nana Kwame marrying you and claiming to fall in love with you was all a plan to get hold of mom's wealth and she also said that they had stolen money from the company and established their own company. So mom's company will soon be taken away from us. " she said, giving me the biggest shock I have ever had.

"What? asked we going to lose mom's hard work just like that?" I asked and she nodded her heard saying yes.

"Nooooooooo, I can't just lose all that . I should have listened to you and mom back then. Now I am going to regret it all my life." I screamed out of regret and sadness.

Just then, my phone rang and mom's doctor' s name appeared on the screen. So I quickly picked it up to hear what the doctor had to say.

"Hello doctor, how is everything going on there?"I said.

"Hello Mrs Fosu,everything is going well, but can you come to the company tomorrow morning? We need to talk about your mother's condition," he said.

"Okay doctor, I will be there first thing tomorrow morning. Good night doctor and bye "I said.

" Good night Mrs Fosu,. See you tomorrow then , bye.." Doctor Yaa , our family doctor said.

"Adoma, what did the doctor say? Is mom okay?" Adobia did even wait for me to hang up before she started questioning me.

" Yes sis, Dr Yaa just want me to come to the hospital tomorrow morning and mom is fine, so don't worry." I said, comforting her.

"Oh , I am relieved to know mom is fine and nothing bad happened. " she signed heavily.

"Dr. Yaa, please tell me what is wrong with mom? askedsked me to come today .so here I am." I ask imegettly I entered the doctor's office. Well Dr Yaa called me earlier to come to the hospital instantly and that my attention was urgently needed at the hospital . so I left in the middle of some important meeting at the company.

" Mrs. Adoma, your mother's condition has worsened and as per the text result we did yesterday, she has only eight months lift to live and we have decided to their own company. So mom's company will soon be taken away from us. " she said, giving me the biggest shock I have ever had.
