What's his name? ", Iris asks Kyle. "He? He, who? you mean My Lord? ", Kyle pretends to not know as to tease her. He the tells, "Dylan, Dylan Erickson". She asks him to tell more about Dylan but he doesn't say much. "Dylan Erickson, what are you? Why do I have to get married to you? Why did it have to be me? ", Iris talks to herself once again. She gets annoyed as Kyle doesn't speak more about her husband-to-be.

Iris leans towards the window. They had been travelling for quite some time. "When are we arriving? We have been travelling for ages", Iris sighs. " Thirty minutes more and we'll reach our destination ", Kyle humbly replied. "Why does it have to be so far? " , She she rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Looks like you are very excited to meet my Lord. But, I can't drive any faster than this because of the safety rules, you know" , Kyle teased Iris to light up the mood. "What? Who wants to meet your lord? I'm not in a hurry to meet anyone. I'm just not used to travelling for long periods of time. I get motion sickness . It is extreme. How come you don't know that? ", She spoke as she frowned and looked outside the window. " Oh, yes! I totally forgot about it. In that case do you want me to pull over for some time? ", Kyle suggested. But Iris wanted to reach as soon as possible so that she doesn't have to spend more hours riding in a car after a short break. She also feared those men would come back for them. Kyle passes a bottle of water and Iris thanks him.

"Are you his driver? ", Iris asks. In response to her question he laughs and says, "I'm your Guardian, to be specific ". She asks him what did he mean by guardian? He replied her saying that he is responsible for her safety. His prime duty is to protect her from any harm. She burts out in laughter. Then calls him 'Mr Bodyguard '. He then tells her how he had saved her from falling down the stairs in the school when she was 9 and saved her from being kidn*pped when she was 12. She goes back to her memories and remembers being saved by a man but doesn't remember his face. She asks him why she didn't remember his face and he doesn't reply to her.

She then starts thinking he must be a dangerous person and her husband-to-be might be a big shot as he got her a bodyguard to keep an eye on her. Iris asks him if he was the one who rescued her when the bullies locked her up in the bathroom. He denies saving her and tells him it was his lord who had saved her. He also tells her that he was very worried about her when she fell ill for months because of the incident. She tells him she's afraid of darkness because of that incident and feels sad because her bullies didn't get any punishment. But Kyle tells him that his lord made them pay for their deeds. He doesn't tell her the details though. She thanks him for being there when he was alone and helpless. Kyle replies saying that it was his job. She starts thinking about all misfortunes she had to go through but felt happy because someone was always protecting her. She gets lost in her thoughts.

Some time later, Kyle pulls over. He turns back and glances Iris who is still leaning towards the window quietly. He calls her name but she does not answer. So he walks out the car and then knocks at the window. Iris is started. "Were here! ", he smiles at Iris. He opens the door and gestures Iris to walk out of the car. She thinks for a moment and then she finally moves out. She turns back and looks at the giant gate and murmurs, "Wow! Am I teleported to ancient times? What's with the design? ". Kyle asks her to follow him. She nodes in response and carries her bag pack. She drops her phone. Kyle helps her pick it up and sees Evelyn's picture as her wallpaper. He asks her why she admired Evelyn? She tells him, that Evelyn is humble, elegant and honest. She would never hurt anyone. He laughs . Iris is pissed off so he asks for her forgiveness.

Kyle leads the way. They pass by a big garden filled with flowers ,roses, sunflowers, lilies and more, in the right hand side while the left hand side was full of thorny plants and there lied a thristle in the middle of the other thorny plants.The Mansion was huge and gave out spooky vibes like those of vampires in dramas and movies. " Wow, I never knew a place like this existed! ", she talks to herself. " Is a vampire going to pop out from there? ", she pointed towards the giant Mansion. " Well, you're standing with one", Kyle giggles. "Huh! What did you say? ", she draws her attention to Kyle. But he just walks inside ."What's with him? He only answers what he wants to. Arrogant brat! ", She murmurs. He asks her to be careful with the stairs.

He points at the sign board that read " DO NOT ENTER " and tells Iris to never enter the Mourning Garden without his lord's permission if she doesn't want to get troubled. She asks him what was so special about it but he doesn't reply rather changes the subject and tells her that she should be mentally prepared for the wedding. Iris becomes depressed once again. She looks at her phone and dials her parents number but no one picks up the call. She gets annoyed. She thinks for a moment then enters the giant Mansion. She is fascinated by the beauty of the mansion.

They walk inside the big hall. Kyle turns back and says that Iris could walk around the house and that there is a library where she could spend her time ready books and he also mentions that the library has all the kinds of books that she fancies. Iris realizes that nothing was hidden from Kyle, that he knew almost everything about her. " p*****t! What are you? Stalker? A p*****t stalker! ", she glared at Kyle. "That's bit harsh. I'm neither a p*****t nor a stalker. I'm your Guardian who has to be around you always and protect you", He proudly says. "So you've always been around me? Since when? You're my guardian angel like those in fantasy drams or movies? But you look young. Why do I need a guardian? Wait, am I a big deal? ", Iris fires Kyle with her questions. He answers her saying that he has been with her since the day she was born. While her husband-to-be protected her from the external harm and helped her mother give birth safely.

He concludes saying that everyone believed he was young but he wasn't.

"He what? ", Iris utters and thinks for a moment. "What is he saying? He helped me born ? So this means he is an old guy. But what does he mean by helping my mother give me birth? What could he help with?Is he a doctor or something? Well he must be a doctor. wait,Am I being married to an old guy?No this can't be true!How can my parents do that to me?I have to run away, this won't do". She forces a smile at Kyle who has been trying to read her facial expressions. They reach the dining room and Kyle asks her to be seated. "I assume you must be hungry. You skipped breakfast again", he pulls the chair for Iris. She sits down and doesn't seem surprised anymore. The table is full of dishes.

"Huh?At this moment how shall I digest food?So you guys even know my favourite food? Let's see what you preprared.Dumplings, omlette, pasta and milk. For desserts, Mango pudding, cheesecake and what is this?icecream Wow! you guys prepared all my favourite.You guys really do your homework well. Amazing! ", she raises her eyebrows. She starts talking to herself, "Iris, you have to run away from here or everything will get ruined. What about your dream of becoming an actress? You have to escape at any cost. But this food looks so delicious. Iris, get hold of yourself!Ah! What do I do? On one hand there is this delicious food and on the other hand my life. I am so doomed. Focus! Focus! This is all a trap".

Eventually, Iris starts eating and she enjoys it. Kyle calls someone on the phone describing about the incident that happened on their way to the Mansion. She pretends not to be listening his conversation. She takes out her phone and dials her father's number. He finally picks it up. She tells him that she reached the mansion and was having breakfast. She asks him what was all about this marriage and he only tells her to behave and that he was sorry for all that was happening to her and that he couldn't do anything to help her. She had no choice but to respect his decision and hung up on her. He promised to meet her in the mansion later.

Not ready to give up on her dreams she starts cooking up plans to escape at night. Just then, Kyle walks up to her and asks if she's done eating. But she keeps on eating avoiding his question. He pours a glass of water for her to drink and she smiles at him as she takes the glass. He asks her to eat slowly and nobody was stealing her food. A dark figure witnesses them . She asks Kyle to join her but he politely refuses.

After the meal. He takes her to the library. She is overjoyed to see all the books. She picks up one and starts reading. She settles down herself in the chair. She is immersed in the book. Kyle stands as he arranged the books on the table. Iris glances at Kyle who is busy tidying the table and then focuses back on her book. She asks him if it was fine to skip school. He reassures her telling that her parents had already informed the school about her absence. "You guys are amazing ",she tells turning the pages. He asks her if she would like a tour of the mansion. She decides to keep on reading. After a pause she asks him if those men would come back for her again or if they're going to hurt her parents. He tells her that they might be back but she doesn't need to worry because he'll protect her and that her parents are being guarded as well. She breathes a sigh of relief.

She gets a message from Zoey asking her to send pictures of the place. She clicks the photos of the books in the library and sends them to zoey. Zoe replies saying it was something she had expected. She also mentions that Iris is boring and who reads books instead of enjoying on her birthday. She was a legend. Iris smiles looking at her phone.

Kyle informs Iris that she could invite her friend for the wedding. She instantly objects and tells him that nobody should know about the marriage. She wanted to keep it a secret. He agrees. She asks him how did he know her parents and he replies saying it's a very long story.

"You're here", a voice draws everyone's attention. An Old Man walks out of nowhere all dressed in black. Iris instantly gets up. The old man stares Iris.

"We're Here! ", Kyle replies. "Is he the one I'm going to get married? ", Iris sighs.
