"Oh c'mon, Roi. I bet she was staring at you earlier and not me!" Roi and I burst out laughing as we went on the third movie night together.
Hanging out with someone like Roi and Jarvis was so much fun I hadn't known existed. Ever since the incident at the company, Gregory kept ignoring me, he only communicated with me during business meetings and all, and he stayed within his limits. Though Roi and Jarvis, including Nina and Griffin kept cheering me up, they couldn't fill up the space between I and Gregory.
It hurt so much knowing he changed towards me overnight. At every little clumsiness I made, he wouldn't cease to scold me. It felt like he was trying to pull me away... Away from —him?
"That's enough, I wasn't even staring!" Jarvis's voice jolted me out of my thoughts
