Kylie's POV
Immediately I exited Dad's office, the next place I could think of running to was the female restroom. Gosh, what did I just do?
I had just gone down on my stepdaddy a few minutes ago, and for the first time like I had thought, I enjoyed it. There was no sting of remorse in me. It was something I couldn't control, something I desired but couldn't have.
Even though I wanted his touch badly imprinted on me, I felt like a slut wanting after a man who was my stepfather.
'You shouldn't be doing this, Kylie. Remember he's still your late mother's husband?' I thought.
I flinched when a sharp knock came across the restroom door, and I hurriedly arranged myself, making sure I looked properly kept in place as I stepped out of the restroom.
"Kylie? What are you doing? You look disheveled!" Nina, a colleague of mine that had never conversed with me ever since I came here asked.
I passed a weird look at her as my finger poked my chest. "How did you know my name?"
"I will answer that shortly after I'm done. I'm pressed." Nina answered and rushed into the bathroom. Soon, she returned outside.
"Who in the world won't know the newest intern Kim recruited recently? You're Kylie." She grinned at me, and I sighed in relief. At least she didn't know more than that, and that was a relief.
I managed a small smile. "Okay."
"Um, can we be um-friends?"
My gaze dragged to her hand that was stretched out, waiting for mine. Silence suddenly enveloped between us as I flashed a smile, reciprocating the handshake.
"Sure. I would love to." I replied, my voice low and calm.
Nina smiled widely, her cheeks heated up in a blush like something thrilling had happened. "Gosh, I can't believe I finally had a conversation with Kylie!"
I chuckled inwardly, pinching the bridge of my nose. Nina wouldn't be bad after all, would she? Her long black hair reached her neck, her emerald green eyes pierced into mine as she continued to blabber.
"Oh, it's nothing. I'm just an intern." I bit out, tremors hovered under my feet. I didn't like where the conversation was heading to, so I added, "Um, I've got to go. I need to fix some papers for Sir Greg." I rushed my words and turned to leave when her voice came again.
"Sir Greg? Is that what you call him?"
How ridiculous. Without any hesitation, I tilted my head in her direction to see her leaning on the door, her lips curled into what looked like a grin. "Is it a crime to call him that?" I retorted.
At the mention of him, I felt a tingling sensation wracked into me, the ache between my legs pleaded to be quenched by him. 𝑯𝒊𝒎. Jeez, I was so dirty. I shouldn't be feeling this way. Why was I suddenly craving his touch?
Nina's gaze took me in thoroughly, as if observing me and instantly, I masked it up with a smile.
"I'm not saying it's a crime." She shrugged. "I'm just surprised that you're the only one addressing him that way."
"Do you know you'll be putting your work at risk if heard by any staff lurking nearby?" I rebutted and she scoffed. "Oh, Kylie. How about lunch? It's on me."
I nodded slowly. "Sure. See you until then." With that said, I turned at once and trudged away, hoping silently that the ache between my legs would be settled.
I got to my desk, powering my laptop and whirring it back to life. As I worked, tension rose in me when I felt an eccentric gaze pinned on me, resulting in me to glance up to see it was Kim, Gregory's assistant. Her eyes swallowed mine, as if the eyes could crush someone, I knew I'd be crushed by her unending stares.
"Can I help you with something, Kim?" I broke the silence with a question. Kim gave me a long blank stare before replying, "The boss requested to see you."
She didn't spare another glance at me before sashaying away, her stiletto clicking on the cold tiled floor that I reluctantly dragged my gaze back to what I was working on.
What? Why was he requesting to see me?
Oh, no. Not again.
At first, I had refused to attend to him, but then, the desirable hunger that was throbbing between my legs forced me to move from my position. When I got to his office, I took in a sharp deep breath before glancing sideways for any third party, and then I knocked on the wooden door.
"Come in!" My ears perked up at the voice. The voice that gives me the sparks, the tingly feeling and breath. My stomach knotted with different impure thoughts running into me.
I felt like I needed a confession, but at the same time, I wanted this, I cracked this. How many times had I wished Mom didn't meet him at first before I did. f**k, I wanted this man to myself.
Gently, my hands laced on the doorknob and twisted it open, and I sauntered in, exhaling the long breath I'd taken in a while ago before stepping into his office. Dammit, those eyes—Those eyes were staring at me again.
Gregory beheld my presence then glanced back at his laptop, bespectacled. My brows furrowed, anger stirring up in me. I felt jealous that he wasn't staring at me. Was he that focused not to have noticed me walk in or was this a show?
I tilted my head to the side and groaned slightly. "You requested to see me." I drawled, fighting the urge not to yell at him. Why the hell wasn't he looking at me?
"I need your help, Kylie," He stated, his voice deep and husk.
Swallowing the lump that formed in my throat, I asked. "With what, Sir?"
Gregory lifted his eyes to me, smearing me a dagger glare that tempted me to take a step backwards. Had I trespassed?
At that moment, he stood up and walked to stand in front of me with calculated steps that was enough to steal the remaining breath I had left to breathe. My lips quivered. "D-Did I do something wrong, Sir?"
His eyes narrowed on me. "Sir? Is that what you call me now, Kylie?"
"I-I..."
"I-I'm so sorry, Daddy." I gulped down my saliva, my legs suddenly wobbling and my stomach knotted with fear.
Immediately, his hands stroked my hair fondly. "Be a good girl for me, and I will reward you sweetly, darling."
"Yes, Daddy."
