Kylie's POV
"You weren't aware of the construction site that was coming up?" Roi's voice broke the haze that clouded in my mind. I snapped back to reality, my eyes glancing down at my instant ramen.
"Um, no. I wasn't aware." I said immediately.
"I'm surprised you aren't. I mean, you're close to the boss aren't you?" Roi drawled, digging into his ramen. I lost an appetite to eat a while ago, and I had decided to follow him to grab some coffee when we bought some ramen noodles along.
"I don't understand what you're trying to insinuate." I let out a dry chuckle as we strolled back to our office. Eventually, our shifts would be over for the day.
"You are one of his closest interns, aren't you? He's supposed to tell you or Kim." He shrugged.
