For a second, Juhi's heart skipped a beat.
The action was unexpected but what came after that just proved her point.
The beast sniffed her hand. To everyone's shock, it blew on her hand slowly and wagged its tail harder. Then, it stopped growling and lowered its massive head to allow her to pet her.
She reached out as slow as she could not to startle the animal.
"Juhi." Arin's soft warning came from behind her but she needed to trust her gut.
Her hand touched the dirty fur-like hair behind its ears, making it lower its head further.
The men stood astonished at the scene unfolding before them. They had forgotten to maintain their elements which had dispersed as easily as they had been cast.
Juhi rubbed the area behind the anima's ear, trying not to gag at the foul
