Turned out, it was a very nice surprise to have Juhi, as she insisted on being called, in the kitchen with me.
We made waffles, and she showed off her coffee-art-making skills. Soon, the whole place was full of mouth-watering aromas. I would never have guessed someone who used to have such a busy life as a psychiatrist to be such an efficient, quick, and good cook.
I was looking forward to sitting with her and enjoying our creations when one by one the other three poured in.
Apart from the official Alpha meetings or the Moon Goddess' annual carnival, we had never sat at one table.
