The Furies were something of a legend that none of us had ever encountered in our lifetimes. We had known of the destruction they would cause to the enemies of the Witches who had sent them.
These were among the many reasons why no werewolf ever messed with the Witches.
So, when faced by the Furies in this prison, it didn't take long to connect the dots that maybe it was the Witches behind this suffering.
Witches of the Western Isles usually kept to themselves, but they were notorious for their use of dark magic and pagan rituals to get what they wanted. They never wanted anything nice like peace. We could only guess what they were after, this time.
