Dr. Juhi Mohan's POV:
❁❁
The next time I woke up, everything was silent.
I opened my eyes and found myself back in the initial room I had woken up in. This time, I was alone.
This gave me a chance to stop and think.
I had so much stuff going on before all of this had happened, and it felt impossible to make sense of anything, anymore.
I sat up in the bed but did not attempt to leave it.
My brain brought back flashes of memories from before the accident. I was so sad and hopeless. I had lost everything a person could possibly lose. I had been on the verge of giving up on life. I was alone and miserable.
Before I could wallow in my pain and allow my mind to take me deeper into my tragedies, I heard a crash.
It was loud and sounded like it came from the left, which was outside. Or as outside as the insides of a massive cave could count as.
I left the room in a hurry. I needed to know what was happening. With my life in such an upside-down situation, I needed something to make sense.
I opened the exit door and my feet refused to carry me further.
The view that awaited me was far from any reasoning or logic I could muster.
Kata seemed to be controlling the water from the lake and was hovering it like huge bubbles on the heads of the other three men.
A very strong wind was blowing with a baby tornado brewing in the center of the cross where the men were facing each other, and I felt like it was Vagus' doing, whose back was towards me.
Arin and Devgan (I remembered hearing it when I had first woken up and connected the dots to realize it must be the brooding one's name) were glaring daggers at each other, but where Devgan looked like he was holding fire in his bare hands and it didn't seem to hurt him, Arin had simply his hands in a fist. I didn't realize it right away, but the other three had rough circles etched in the ground around their feet and I felt sure that it was no coincidence.
My eyes widened. I wanted to scream, but no voice escaped me.

Alpha Hīrō Kata's POV:
☂☂
I don't know when the conflict expanded. One minute, we were all ignoring each other like we had been doing since we got stuck here.
And the next, the three of them were all accusing each other like the little misbehaving children that they are. One thing quickly led to another, and suddenly, we were all outside and ready to show off our elemental abilities to prove our dominance.
I don't know.
But when I got blamed for us being in this mess, none of my tranquility exercises helped keep me calm.
And the Fire Alpha had always been short of temper and had been looking for a way to let his fire loose since we found ourselves in this hellhole.
I had always felt annoyed by Air Alpha's character, but since coming here he had been doing everything to get on my nerves.
I had honestly expected better action and self-control from the self-proclaimed grounded personality of the Earth Alpha. But the way he threatened to bury us alive by creating circles around our feet, I had given him more credit than deserved. Rumors are rarely true.
Not to mention how the presence of the doctor had changed all their behaviors.
It was no secret that this was our prison and one way or another she was the key to get out. Why had the Moon Goddess chosen this specific person and where had she come from, were the questions we didn't yet know the answers to.
If only I was at my Lake of Peace, I might've been able to connect to the Moon Goddess aura and find out in which direction did she intend our fate.
Using the lake water to threaten the three Alphas was not how I wanted to do things. But I had to make sure they all knew to never take me lightly. I had a continent to govern and some serious matters to look after. I did not have time for games.
That's when I looked behind Rex and my eyes caught movement that none of the idiots I was surrounded with, had noticed yet.
I needed the doctor to connect with me, so she could help me get back first. And I needed her to have a positive impression of me.
So, as quickly as possible, I swallowed the shock at seeing her awake and looking at us, I dispersed the water bubbles back to the lake of origin. My action confused the rest but I was in no rush to warn anyone else of our lovely audience. It was better that she saw these hotheads act without any formality and show their real selves.
Fire Alpha was the quickest to understand the change in my attitude and was even quicker to distinguish his fire. I could understand how hard it was for one of such temperament and swallow his pride to take the initiative to back down.
That made Rex and Akoni turn to look at where my eyes were trained.
The doctor looked like she had seen a ghost.
There was not a single soul on the whole planet who did not know of the existence of our elemental abilities. So why was she acting like this was impossible and her first time witnessing such a phenomenon?
So why did she place a worried hand on her bandaged forehead and fall back down to the ground, clearly having lost consciousness due to the shock she had received?
We all rushed toward her.
There was no way any of us was stupid enough to not care about this beautiful curvy woman, who looked like she was handcrafted by the Moon Goddess herself to carry the strongest Wolf pups.
I was standing farthest from her and was the last to reach her, with Air Alpha being the quickest to stop her fall.
She took a shaky breathe and opened her hesitant eyes, still half standing in Rex's arms, the latter part, much to my annoyance because he looked like he had no intention of giving her up.
She looked at all our faces, having put aside our personal animosity for her sake, we all had been looked at her, terrified of being stuck there since we got to that hellhole the first time.
"What, the hell, was that?"
Was the only question that made the top of any list she might had for all the unexplainable things she had been facing.
"Let's get you inside. It's about time we all came clean to each other."
