“Welcome to the second circle of hell. I am Minos. Once a King of Crete. Now the king of the Circle of lust.” Minos was smiling as he looked at us. He was, just like the other monster that we have encountered, is a humungous creature with terrifying snake-like characteristics. A half human, and a half serpent. Yet, the difference of this creature is that it has the ability to talk and communicate with us. He claims himself to be a King, noting the golden crown at the top of his head.
As far as I remember, Minos is a character in a Greek literature. He rules the Kingdom of Crete, and he was the one who ordered Daedalus, the greatest inventor, to make a labyrinth that would hold a terrifying creature called Minotaur.
Is he, for real, the Minos that we have been learning in our literature class? I could not believe it. It was Impossible that this half human, half serpent creature is the one that is being referred to in the literature.
The storm of howling ghosts from afar was now about to hit towards where we are, at the moment. The amount of fear and panic that resonates at our group was surely unexplainable. We made sure that we are all intact to each other, especially the whole Vulture gang. It seems that the storm of ghosts that was about to come to us is going to make another terrifying incident on us. How I wish it would not cause us anything that is terrifying. But then again, this is hell. Damn it.
“Oh, the storm of lust is about near,” said Minos as he looked above, at the sky, at the cluster of ghosts spirits that seems formed as if a cloud.
“That’s it, I guess I have to tell you what I was assigned to tell,” Minos smiled. His personality seemed nice and cool, but with that face, and that form, one would surely not doubt telling that he was hiding something evil.
“Let’s play a game!” Minos said, smiling. “It is a play of hide and seek. But …” his smile turned more dire and evil. “There is a twist. What you would be hiding is definitely not your body, but the call of your body.”
From that, We felt confused and lost.
“Well, the rule is easy: Do not let the whispers of the ghost control you. Because if you do, you will be one of them.”
What was this creature was telling about? What kind of rule and game is he pertaining? Does the cluster of ghosts plays something important on it?
Questions were left hanging as we saw how in a snap, Minos disappeared, and, the storm of spirits were now just only a few distance away of us.
