Chapter 51

1602 Words

Holder woke up from the distant voices of people. Their voices were banging onto his ears, like a warning shot in which he should take seriously. “There! We heard the screams there!” The voice of that certain man was in panic and fear. “We heard… we heard people screaming, like it was being killed. A lot of them!” And so, Holder decided to jolt up from where he was weakly laying. The first thing he realized, is that he was not sleeping in his supposed to be comfortable bed he had rented for this lodging house. His head explodes a pang of pain when he jolted from his position, and sat down. He held his head. This was the first time he felt this kind of painful headache torturing him. He was sure that this wasn’t a hangover, for he did not drink anything. Or did he? He wasn’t sure.
