I’m wearing black, sleek clothing, and my backpack has been filled with items that might be necessary for this jailbreak: some rope, a flashlight, and a collection of nimble lock-picking tools that I randomly found at the school’s hobby shop.
Now I just need my partner in crime: Arvid.
I knock on his door a minute past midnight. Nothing happens, so I bang on it harder until I hear heavy footsteps. I also listen to him mutter, “Who knocks at this hour?” before the door finally opens to reveal a shirtless Arvid.
