         Rita is polishing her g*n, a 45 calibre and an advanced armalite but smaller than it. It bigger than a 45 calibre but can fire faster than an armalite. A new invention from the REBVO scientific arms team. She is still thinking about Liz and how the girl made her feel. But she is unsure about the girl’s feeling to -wards her. She knows that Liz loves Vic but can’t help it how she is drawn to the girl like she’s a d**g giving her high every time she sees her.

               Knock, knock, on Rita’s room. Rita standing up from her seat lazily and opening the door. Oh it’s you, she said coldly. Hey, Rita, hi! Thanks for the intro., kissing and petting my girl, I finished everything and it isn’t for you, she’s mine, and only mine!, Vic said seriously. So hands off, okay, we’re clear on that, right?, Rita?, Vic asked waiting for Rita’s response. Yes, your highness!, Rita answered blankly. Alright, so, come and eat breakfast with us, Vic said back to her normal and kind self.

               At breakfast. Gisel, Victoria and Em are talking about a marriage preparation when Liz and Vic came in to join them at the table. Rita followed and seated herself far at the right where she can’t see or

even look at Liz. Liz saw Rita and breathed in and out then proudly held her chin up and looked at Vic’s family with dignity.

               What are you discussing about, mom?, Vic asked. Oh, it’s about your wedding, Liz is the perfect partner for you. Your great grandma and grandma think so too, Em added happily. Okay, it’s alright but I am bound to travel back in time again in a couple of weeks, so, when will we do it? the marriage, I mean?, Vic said calmly. Whaa…t, what are you talking about, Vic, you said yu won’t use the time warp machine, again, You promised me!. Liz now becoming hysterical. Babe, it’s just that, we thought we could do something to change the year 2020 or 2021 against the pandemic to change our future, Vic explained holding Liz’s arm when she tried to run out of the dining room. No, you promised me, Vic, you promised you won’t leave me, again. The first time you went in and travelled through time, it took you weeks to come back, what more is it’s for a month or so?, It’ll take years or what if you won’t be able to come back, Vic please, I won’t be able to bear the pain of losing you!. Liz explained looking at Vic and pulled her arm from her and walked out of the room. Vic wanted to follow Liz but Gisel stopped her. Rita was advised to follow the girl and comfort her by Em motioning to follow the girl outside and console her.

               Stop following me, and I hate you, so go figure!, Liz spilt without looking at Rita. I am just here because my bosses told me to assist you in some way, Rita argued. Why did Vic need to fulfil this mission?, it’s a lost cause and why does she care so much?, Liz said not because she’s unkind but she just feels like the time machine is taking away the love of her life. I understand how you feel, Liz, I get that feeling too when Vic takes you away from me. Though I didn’t have the right to get jealous since I am a nobody to you. That’s just how I feel and I can’t help it, Rita added sitting beside Liz on the sidewalk. Liz went out of the villa and went straight to the veranda and out of the gates and walked on the street without even knowing where to go. So come on, I’ll escort you back and release some of the tension Vic’s family is having now since I’m sure Vic is totally worried about you, haha!, Rita said giving a hand for Liz to take in case she changed her mind leaving the villa. Besides she doesn’t know Manhattan and she couldn’t find her way back if she left in the first place.

               Liz took Rita’s hand and wiped the tears in her eyes. Thanks!.

               You’re welcome!, Rita said gripping Liz’s hand harder and let it go then led the girl inside the villa back to the dining room.

               Liz apologized for her childishness and everybody forgave her. Vic looked at Liz and smiled. She knew how Liz felt and even if she didn’t want to go, who else can go there in her replacement. Rita is silent for hours at dinner, as if she was thinking about something. Then she approached Vic all of a sudden and advised to send her to 2020 aboard the time warp machine. What?, Ar you out of your mind?, Vic said surprised. Yup, that’s what my mom said when I joined the military but since I’m highly skilled I can travel the past or the future even aboard the shuttle to the moon or Saturn, you know!, Rita explained happily. Uhu!, Yeah, you’re right about that. But would this be okay since you’ll be gone for weeks and how about your family?, Vic advised seriously. It’s okay, I live alone and my family is safe. Besides I love the adventure and maybe I needed this more than you, cause I want to find myself and recover from my past with this feat, Rita said looking at Vic with such honesty. Okay, then, deal, attend

the trainings starting tomorrow and you’ll be accompanied by a new recruit by REVO and NASA, her name is Jewels Johnston. She is a former naval army officer and a good pilot for the military. She can help you out especially with the flying and all. Alright then, good luck, soldier!, Vic added smiling at Rita feeling confident about her decision replacing her for the experiment.
