"Is this what you saw?" I grit out. It's obvious what this is, but I'm betting that he couldn't even remember the disaster in front of us. "No, it was some other freakishly large, brown thing." Corbin snaps back, sarcasm dripping from each word like venom. My blood starts to boil. "You seriously don't know what this thing is?" I yell. I can feel the blood rushing to my cheeks as I angrily glare at him. "I wasn't that invested in school like you." He retorts, rolling those ocean hues of his. "I really hope you aren't calling me a dork right now." I murmur, still standing perfectly still as the Virethorn and I are currently busy with a staring contest.
